Just a final reminder that we launched the first Fantasy Football Scout cup competition – the Paddy Power Cup, earlier this week. Gameweek 12 is the qualifying round for the tournament with the top scoring 1020 managers (our previous 4 winners automatically qualify) progressing to the first round proper.

Entry is free, there are prizes for the top three placing’s and you can enter via our form right here. You should receive email confirmation of your entry once submitted, but you can also check that your entry has been successful via this list. If you have any issues with your entry, please email akers@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk.

Good luck to those who enter. We will post full details of the qualifiers once the gameweek ends on Tuesday, with the first round draw following later next week.

    Think I'm set for the week guys.. Took a 4 pt hit to go Bos-Mcauley, Enrique Iglesias-Brown and Suarez-RVP. Team as follows:

    Only little dissapointment is Ajohn plus his clash with Brown but I will look to offload him later. Any other changes that need to be made??

      Would probably say Moses due only to the fact that he hasn't performed this season. Couldn't bench Ade or Suarez just coz of who they are. Walters has shown some good stuff this season and sess has come good. So yeah i say moses

          I was trying to help! I was recommending playing Vorm every week and having a decent first choice 4M keeper to come into play if necessary........

          Not a good idea was my response to Rukawa who recommended the Swansea 2nd and 3rd choice keepers

              oh ok, the posts don't always come up in order, just a misunderstanding, by the way I am thinking of swapping Given to Ruddy before the prices change so I will have 3.9M in the bank to help towards getting necessary funds to be able to get in Nani or Rooney if they start scoring big, but this will cause me problems if any players get injured in the Sunday or Monday games (VDV, Ade, Sturridge, Enrique). Should I take the risk? What do you think?

      Al Habsi, people will say they don't rotate well, but come on, they have both served me well, they have rarely both done f%$kall for me in the same week. Both are big save guys and Penalty stoppers. And Al Habsi has Blackburn, sure to get 6 saves, but mostly none too dangerous (I hope).

    had him since he was 4million now i can sell him at 4.2m, get ruddy in to warm the bench and send the 0.2 elsewhere.

    iv had taylor (swansea) since he was 4mill also so for me it would make sense.

    How come there was no love for Mignolet but now there is all this love for Westwood? It isn't like the Hilario/Cech situation where you got a stand-in first choice keeper (albeit for 2 weeks, thankfully wasn't fooled into it) for much less.
    Was it based on his performance vs United and the 2 save points? 😕

      Well from last year, when Mignolet played like crap and got the hot urine treatment no one really believed that he would be a prolific stopper. Then there's the extent of his injury, Cech's not so bad as broken orbital and nose...and then there are the fixtures.

      personally I think i would prefer krul or kenny over ruddy but they do cost more.
      not so sold on jags. think enrique is a better bet if you have a bit more cash. if not then maybe simpson (i know bad fixtures right now but a good cheapie for the season) or someone else to downgrade too
