We’ve got a mammoth eight games today to get us back into the swing of Premier League action today. We start the Dugout Discussion over in Norfolk as Paul Lambert and his band of merry men welcome Arsenal to Carrow Road…

Norwich make a couple of changes to the side that list at Villa Park before the international break with Andrew Crofts and David Fox coming in for Elliott Bennett and Grant Holt. Arsene Wenger, meanwhile, starts Laurent Koscielny at right-back with the rest of his side pretty much picking itself. Teams in full are…

Norwich XI:Ruddy; Naughton, Martin, Barnett, Tierney; Johnson, Crofts, Pilkington, Hoolahan (C), Fox; Morison.

Arsenal XI: Szczesny; Koscielny, Vermaelen, Mertesacker, Andre Santos; Song, Ramsey, Arteta; Walcott, Gervinho, Van Persie.

Then we’ll be with good old Jeff Stelling and Merse -or Gabby Logan and Garth Crooks for those less fortunate- to take in a big bite of Gameweek 12 action with 6 three o’clock kick offs to keep our eyes on.

Man City (who will lead the line this time?) hosting Newcastle, Sunderland (the travails of one Nicklas Bendtner) welcoming Fulham and Everton (all eyes on the Drenthe bandwagon) vying with Wolves are the pick of the bunch for most Fantasy Managers out there.

Swansea’s imperious home record will face it’s sternest test yet in the evening kick-off as Manchester United pay visit and close out our bumper Saturday of Dugout Discussion action.

    i thought that if i player passed the ball and it can off a defender it was only an assist if the attacking playing was in the 18 yard box was aguero in the box or outside??

      It doesn't matter where the ball comes from, that would be ridiculous.
      It is when it comes off the defender inside the box.

    To kill this controversy right now.
    FPL assist rules:
    "Assists are awarded to the player from the goal scoring team, who makes the last touch before the goal is scored. If after this touch, an opposing player touches the ball outside the penalty area altering the intended destination of the ball, then no assist is given, except if this intervention directly results in an own goal."
    Ryan Taylor wasn't outside the box, Aguero gets the assist.

      everyone is happy about the rule but were are asking if taylor was outside the box or if he altered the direction of the ball some of us are only watching jeff and the boys and are not streaming the match so with its hard to visualize the goal

          Altering direction is different. It was controlled by Taylor, and a mistake gave it to richards.

    The floodgates have opened now at 2-0. City will thrash Newcastle, Aguero to get a goal and Balotelli perhaps to get one more. Dzeko will come on for Balotelli around the 60 minute mark I reckon. City CS likely.
