We’ve got a mammoth eight games today to get us back into the swing of Premier League action today. We start the Dugout Discussion over in Norfolk as Paul Lambert and his band of merry men welcome Arsenal to Carrow Road…

Norwich make a couple of changes to the side that list at Villa Park before the international break with Andrew Crofts and David Fox coming in for Elliott Bennett and Grant Holt. Arsene Wenger, meanwhile, starts Laurent Koscielny at right-back with the rest of his side pretty much picking itself. Teams in full are…

Norwich XI:Ruddy; Naughton, Martin, Barnett, Tierney; Johnson, Crofts, Pilkington, Hoolahan (C), Fox; Morison.

Arsenal XI: Szczesny; Koscielny, Vermaelen, Mertesacker, Andre Santos; Song, Ramsey, Arteta; Walcott, Gervinho, Van Persie.

Then we’ll be with good old Jeff Stelling and Merse -or Gabby Logan and Garth Crooks for those less fortunate- to take in a big bite of Gameweek 12 action with 6 three o’clock kick offs to keep our eyes on.

Man City (who will lead the line this time?) hosting Newcastle, Sunderland (the travails of one Nicklas Bendtner) welcoming Fulham and Everton (all eyes on the Drenthe bandwagon) vying with Wolves are the pick of the bunch for most Fantasy Managers out there.

Swansea’s imperious home record will face it’s sternest test yet in the evening kick-off as Manchester United pay visit and close out our bumper Saturday of Dugout Discussion action.

Remember when Rooney was scoring for fun? Now he just seems to play 40 yard cross-field balls and look fed up.

Rooney (C) fail, nothing ventured nothing gained, but ground loss on the RVP(C) mob, of which I should have been one. Ugh.

That was me for the past 3/4 weeks, just 2 points down with Aguero this week. Next week I'll probably try my luck with Lampard.

Annoying though, although I love Rooney doing badly for FPL, he is the one weak link in my Sky Fantasy Football team. Still 400 in it though 🙂

United play like they're only half conscious for 89 minutes and then suddenly come to life in the last 4 minutes to show us what type of match it could have been. Depressing team they really are.

Went Nani to Bale this morning. Was dreading tonight's game but, yet again, he disappoints. His form is dreadful but I also feel, like Rooney, he's suffered from tactical changes. United have tightened up since the drubbing to City but, the result of that, has been a decline in their attacking potential.

Absolutely, after sticking with Rooney for the last number of weeks, I feel compelled to take him out before a home game against Newcastle, good move Mark, however risky it is before Bale plays!

Good move with Baines, I tip my hat to you.

How comes you left the Nani to Bale move until this morning? Every penny, or £100,000 counts 🙂

Every time I think of getting rid, I take a look at those fixtures coming up and keep him. I was sooo close to getting rid of him and using the cash to get Baines this week (and not for a point hit either). True (and sad) story.

I'm keeping faith with Nani... Form is temporary, class is permanent.. To be honest, I think he fits the class category. He may be poor at the moment, but he can produce something out of nothing.

Anyone else hate the "denied by the post" phrase. It makes no sense in a case like Jones' shot where if there was no post (which is a stupid consideration anyway) the ball would not have gone in the net anyway.

Messi just got pulled up for a handball when controlling a ball and he would have been in on goal after a wonderful Xavi pass into him, he hears the whistle, turns around and smiles as if to say yeah I wont complain because I did it, but on the replay its clear he controls it perfectly with his chest. What a player.
