Another long wait, filled with false hopes (Victory over Spain?) and overdue results (Ireland qualifying for the Euro’s) is now, at last, all but a distant memory for our budding crop of Fantasy Managers. The Saturday Surgery is open and the next gameweek of action is but a moment away…

We’ve spent the last two weeks giving you all sorts to stew on in anticipation – our Members especially have enjoyed a bumper array of articles to feast upon. Those players moving up in the world of The Watchlist have also had plenty of coverage of late.

If that wasn’t enough to get you on your way then the Scout Committee’s Picks are looking to shine with The Differentials offering an alternative route to some mini-league winning action.

We’ve also got our own Scout Cup on the boil if you’re that way inclined. Who doesn’t love a good cup?

We’ve got an hour to go. Let’s settle in with a morning coffee in the Saturday Surgery and try and make all our teams that little something special.

    Thinking about doing Enrique > Walker & keeping him until GW23 (11 out of 13 decent fixtures + DGW)

    Have exactly 0.3 in the bank to do the transfer. Top of 3/4 of my mini leagues, 2nd & only 1pt behind the league leader in the other, every team below me has Enrique in it except the team directly below me & above me (Both have Walker over Enrique)

    I know its abit late but any feedback?

      I might look to move one of your Newcastle defenders on, given their coming fixtures. At least consider it over the next week or two. Is Rooney really worth it at the moment? If he starts playing up front again you can always get him back. Fairly solid though. Good luck.

        Thanks for the feedback, I decided to save the transfer & avoid dropping 0.3 as cleansheets have been a bit difficult to predict this season.

        In regard's to Rooney, I have held onto him for quite a while now & I would hate to sell him just before his best run of fixtures, fingers crossed SAF starts playing him up front again, also feel the injury to Welbeck & the return of Ashley Young could help him. I may be reaching though, Its always going to be tough getting rid of the ManU penalty taker, I will wait & see.

      Basically, Drenthe has to score a goal and Moses has to do nothing (as usual) for you to show even a small profit on that hit. Considering he's as high as 3/1 to hit the back of the net it's not worth giving away the 4 points IMO.

      That leaves you with 7 big hitters who should get you 50 points between them.

      As I said everyone in the cup has the same players (what percentage of entrants have Van Persie as captain for example?) If Van Persie, Silva and VDV have a bad week then the qualifying score will be pretty damn low.
