After yesterday’s Premier League bonanza of eight games, today we have to settle for just a single fixture. It’s a potential cracker though, as Chelsea take on Liverpool at Stamford Bridge. The Dugout Discussion opens it’s doors for the short shift, and the team news is in…

Chelsea XI: Cech, Ivanovic, Luiz, Terry, Cole, Ramires, Mikel, Lampard, Mata, Drogba, Malouda.

Liverpool XI: Reina, Enrique, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Lucas, Adam, Kuyt, Maxi, Bellamy, Suarez.

The headline news concerns the names that don’t appear on those team sheets. Three players that cost their respective clubs a total of over Ā£100m in 2011 all feature on the bench. Chelsea opt for Didier Drogba over former Liverpool star Fernando Torres, and Liverpool leave out Andy Carroll and Stewart Downing in favour of Craig Bellamy and Maxi Rodriquez.

Elsewhere, David Luiz and Florent Malouda get the nod ahead of Alex and Daniel Sturridge respectively.

        Suarez - class for LFC, mediocre for FF returns.
        Torres - Class for LFC. Wasted talent at CFC. Shit FF returns.

      Suarez has been superb yet not turn that into goals or FPL points - and as Kenny stated Carrol WAS a minus £15m aquisition eg swapped Torres for him and got £15m aswell, to splash towards Suarez.
