With gameweek 12 now complete, it’s time to round up all the miscreants and take stock of the ramifications their offences will bring. We’ve already spoken of the 22 Saturday yellows in our previous review and after the addition of the Sunday and Monday games, that yellow card count ticked up to 29.

However, there were no further names joining Wigan’s Antolin Alcaraz, and the Saturday additions, Joey Barton, David Dunn, Stephen Hunt and Jamie O’Hara on the ban list for gameweek 13 (extending to GW14 in the case of the Wigan man).

Meanwhile, the population of the Suspension Tightrope was boosted tonight by a fourth yellow card for Villa’s reborn Bulgarian, Stiliyan Petrov. There are now up to 11 nervous souls on the tightrope, with Saturday’s new faces: Ryan Shawcross and Lee Cattermole, already making themselves uncomfortable on the high wire.

The final mention in the shake-up from gameweek 12 must go to the card happy pair of Steven N’Zonzi and Lucas Leiva. The Blackburn and Liverpool enforcers both picked up further yellows over the weekend. N’Zonzi’s in the bizarre 3-3 draw at Wigan, making that six in just 12 league appearances, with Lucas’ yellow in the win against Chelsea, his sixth in 13 games across league and cup this season. The pair now forge ahead together in the lead of the card ‘race’, with a two-match ban; the prize if either (or both) of them makes it to 10 before the distant April 8 deadline.

        yo man! haha yep, feeding on footie since that torturing international break. went ok this week bud, 63 points all in all, no more BP's to come as i expect VDV and BAE to get none, all going to hoggers bale, ade, and maybe modric/kaboul or whoever for the 1.

        bit gutted now though as the lad behind me in my mini league has caught on to bringing in RVP and ade, and just above me has done the same by bringing in RVP and Bale, ah well, i know my team is better on the whole so should be climbing even more next week, finally all coming together mwahahahaha.         Doesn't make sense to take out Bendtner or Mata this week anyway as they have home games against two of the weakest sides in the league.

          Hernandez has scored 3 goals in the past 5 games, more points than Rooney and Nani combined (30 to 25). He is a slight rotation risk but could be a good differential given everyone has Nani. I'd consider Ba when his fixtures improve.

        Balotelli: 402 - started 4/12

        There's the stats, Dzeko is slightly favored in the prem, but there is and will be a lot of rotation so i'd stay clear of them bar Aguero.

            Dzeko has started 2 out of the last 3 prem games, balo has started 1/3 so there isn't much suggesting that Balotelli is favored. i think Dzeko is slightly ahead of him in the pecking order. Anyway one thing for sure is that there will be rotation so stay clear i think.

        5 goals in 520 minutes this season, produced two 13 point returns already, Just because a player plays for a bad football team doesn't mean he won't return points, look at Charlie Adam last year at Blackpool.

      Hey Natt, I would just do Evans to Jones if you have the funds.

      Think you should keep Nani this week at home against Newcastle and moreso Mata as they have Wolves who are missing Hunt and O'Hara. Chelsea just had 2 home defeats so I expected a cricket score against Wolves. Ideally you'd want Lampard but Mata should be good coverage.
