The draw for the first round of the Paddy Power Cup has been made and qualifiers can click on this link to find out exactly who they’ll be pitting their wits against. Let’s see if graqfreak can take the scalp of none other than Scout overlord Mark this coming Gameweek.

The deadline for transfers for Round 1 is, of course, this Saturday at 11.30, with the announcement of the results to follow a day or two after the end of the Gameweek.

John C Reilly, i noticed before i went out to circuit training that you were asking about Torres, i think i replied can't remember, but just wondered what your doing with him, i presumed you have him as you were talking about him, i could be wrong. Anyway if you do have him are you giving him one more week?

      Cheers man, i know yeah its worth it aint it, he has got to play, simple as that, has seen like 5 mins in last two games and drogba looked like he had something twingy with his ankle against Leverkusen, chelsea fans will go mad also if he doesn't play.
      
      Yeah im goin this sat, im not a regular, my uncle is a part-time steward at OT and he has a season card , but he's working as a steward that day and gets to see the game for free anyway so gives it to me or my dad if we wanna go, my other unle has the season card and he's also not able to go, so im taking my mate who used to be a season ticket holder for years but no longer, he hasn't been this year either. Not bad for £28 to see the game, seems to be quite often now as well that i go, they'll be plenty more times i hope lol.

        Yeah, I only get to go from time to time. I am in my final year at uni in Manchester so may not be going at all in future. I been to 5 games before, 2 this season. None since Norwich game. Went to Basel game too. Looking to go to Wolves game too. My mate and his uncle have 2 season tickets between them so I go when his uncle cant go. Also 2 lads are one united members and I go with them sometimes.

        Yeah its ok going time to time, a full season ticket would murder my bank account anyway lol. Oh yeah? i finished at salford uni in manchester last year, i only live about 20 mins away from there in Droylsden, near Ashton-u-Lyne.
        
        I've only been once this season, to the chelsea game, i was right in front of the torres miss, surprised i didnt find myself on the back of the daily mirror lol, should of seen terry's face close up when he was walking down the tunnel at full time lol, what a picture! he wanted to kill us all lol.
        
        Going to the wolves game would be good mate, would see plenty of goals in that as well. Yeah it aint bad having uncles with season tickets is it! haha.
        
        Cool i'm sure i'll like it, just hope we get the early lead, would hate newcastle to go ahead first. Yeh i'm sure i'll enjoy it, the experience is greater when going now and again haha 🙂

        Yeah, my time in Manchester is coming to an end in summer 2012 after 4 years here (well one was on placement in Herts). I dont know Droylsden or Ashton, I have lived in Fallowfield and now live in Rusholme. You lived in Manc all your life? I am from the south originally lol.

Droylsden is like 15-20 mins bus journey (10 min in car) from town centre, its ok, i live in the 'nice' part of drolsden that everyone refers to as the 'posh' area lmao!

Everyone slagging Bendtner is going to eat their words.

Yes he is a knob but with these fixtures I expect 5 goals, 2 assists and 8 bonus over the next three gameweeks.

Traded him in for Saurez, gets the VC and under strong consideration for the C.

If RVP is on the bench, a cheeky Bendtner captain could be the genius move of the year.

    I already have Adebayor so it wasn't a choice for me.
    
    If you don't have VDV or Bale, I'd probably go Adebayor over Bendtner.... at least you'll definitely make some coin.
    
    But Adebayor comes with zero glory while you can ride on Bendtners coat tails for months if he rips it.

    Yeah your right. It`s now I should argument why I should keep, but I`m just getting more and more convinced that I should get him out. Have just thought that I`m losing money if I get him out. Haven`t thought about I actually can earn some money when I sell him now and eventually get him in later.       Just a suggestion - maybe a bit sideways though. VDV-->Bale could allow for Allen or BJ to be upgraded to a Ramsey/Walters/Drenthe/Larsson price range player.

        but for me VdV offers a more consistent points scoring potential than Bale (plus my 2 main rivals both have Bale). Bale tends to get his points in clumps, VdV over a longer period, plus he's on all set-pieces.

        I agree but it was only alternative I could suggest to free up some cash for the mid apart from downgrading Aguero.
        
        There aren't many better than Allen in that range as you said. I just wouldn't have both Allen and Sinclair, perhaps Drenthe or OHara as wolves and swansea seem to rotate nicely for home games until WC time?

  Yeah I have him. He's staying for now, mostly because of fixtures. He looked lively against my team (Norwich) and I think he was unlucky not to score. I am looking to move him out after a couple of weeks though. It seems no one apart from RVP is getting points for Arsenal.

      Almost never take a 4 point hit. In most cases you need the player you bring in to score and the player you sold to do nothing. I would see it as Nani is more likely than Bale or Walcott to score this weekend so I def wouldn't do it, especially for a hit

        Fair enough, maybe it makes more sense when you're switching defenders as they have more chance of a cleanie than a midfielder scoring say. also, you can only take credit for the hit for one of those two so you came out even really
