You know the drill. The Scout Selection Committee picks three players and Big Dunc’s way with words tempts you with our Friday night trio. Dunc is unavailable for selection this weekend, so I’ve stepped into the breach to deliver this week’s Differentials piece in his absence. Here’s who we have for your consideration…

Steve Morison

We’re backing the Norwich striker heavily this weekend. Drafted in to the “Ones to Watch” section of our official Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Scout article, he gets the nods here for his performances over the last few gameweeks.

The Welshman has found the net in each of his last three games, scoring against Blackburn, Aston Villa and Arsenal, and while the Canaries seem incapable of picking up a clean sheet, he’s been the one consistent source of points in Paul Lambert’s side of late.

Between gameweek 10-12, only Robin Van Persie has scored more goals than Morison, an indication of his form right now. Up next? A home clash with a QPR side that have conceded 11 goals in their last three road trips. Priced at 4.9 and with an ownership of just 1.3%, Morison looks good value to extend that scoring streak at Carrow Road tomorrow.

Phil Bardsley

Back in the Sunderland fold after a season blighted by both injury and suspension, Bardsley‘s presence in the Black Cats’ back line adds a definite solidity. A look at his four ninety-minute appearances so far this term shows just 2 goals conceded for Steve Bruce’s side, despite away clashes against Liverpool and Man United.

With Kieran Richardson shifted further forward, Bardsley seems to have been instilled as the first-choice left-back once again. His performance in the goalless draw at home to Fulham last week was encouraging from an offensive point of view, too, with plenty of goalscoring opportunities produced for team mates.

Wigan roll up to the Stadium of Light on something of a downer after last week’s controversial home draw with Blackburn and the Latics will hardly take heart in their away performances to date. Roberto Martinez’s side have netted just twice in six away games this season and Bardsley, priced at 4.8 in FPL and owned by just 2.1% of Fantasy managers, could prove a decent differential ahead of tomorrow’s Wearside showdown.

Theo Walcott

Ultimately, it may prove a false dawn but (whisper it) there’s a suggestion that Theo Walcott has developed a consistent streak of late. Prior to gameweek ten, the Gunners winger had never scored or assisted in consecutive weeks but he’s now achieved that feat twice in a row.

A goal in the 5-3 romp at Chelsea was followed by assists against West Brom and Norwich and, as Arsene Wenger’s side start to shift through the gears and climb up the table, Walcott is beginning to produce the goods with something akin to regularity.

Given his “previous”, there’s every chance he could crash and burn at home to Fulham tomorrow but with Robin Van Persie’s current form, any pass to the Dutchman’s feet is liable to result in an assist. With Gervinho providing plenty directness on the opposite flank, Walcott is no longer the only real source of pace up front for Arsenal and has almost doubled his haul for the season in those last three fixtures. Priced at 8.8 he’s hardly a cut-price option but with just 3.6% ownership and up against the attack-minded John Arne-Riise tomorrow evening, he may well prosper as the Gunners go looking for their sixth win in seven.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

I can just do Evans > Brown and Kompany > Enrique.

In the 5 gameweeks I’ve had Ramsey he’s gotten 1 assist and nothing else. Drenthe on the other hand has gotten 4 assists and a goal in this time. Should I sell Ramsey for Drenthe? Plan to get Drenthe at some point anyway for DGW and the money raised will be useful in a couple of weeks. There is also talk on the Arsenal forums of Ramsey being rested and with VDV a doubt I really don’t want to keep Ramsey if he gets benched.

What do you think guys of these two crazy ideas.

    1. Buzsaky & Rooney OUT -> Bale & Adebayor IN - seems crazy just before United's good run of fixtures and Rooney coming back (?) to the frontline. But this allows me to bring both TOT gentlemen in and sell my deadwood (Buzsaky).

    2. Walters & Suarez OUT -> Bale & Adebayor IN - selling Walters sounds like a joke now but I won't need him after GW13 so I'm losing just one favourable fixture of his. And if he draws a blank tomorrow, that would be exactly what I need to justify the choice.

I don't have anyone from Tottenham and I am sure I will have had two or three by the DGW. I don't want to miss the price rises, and tonight both Bale and Adebayor will go up.

I have Nani and Rooney. Roo is going down tonight.

2 freebies, 1.2M in the bank.

    Team:
    Szczesny (Vorm)
    Komp Bos Ward (Saylor Simp)
    Nani Walters Sess Dyer (Buzsaky)
    RvP Roo Suarez

My only City player is Richards, and my only United is Jones. I think I'd rather have a united player with the fixtures coming up. Young looked shite in the CL, Nani looked very bright on the other hand. Thoughts?

I think that's a little harsh on Young, he had an ok game for a guy thrown straight back in after injury, and he's on corners and some fks (though there's usually a queue for therm at United), and reckon he's second on our pks list after Rooney and he's cheaper than Nani.

I've considered not (c) RVP on and off all week.
My decision ; you just have to keep it on him til he gets injured or dies.
      If you've got him....captain him.
Form of his life and at the very peak of his career.

Well its ideas about fantasy football probably aren't much better than flatulent rumblings,.but it involves the removal of Messers Rooney and Evans, and the introduction if Messers Helguson/Adebayor and Jones....
        Probably madness but oh well!

    fellas fellas team is

    Vorm ~ Begovic

    Kompany ~ Enrique ~ Jones ~ Simpson ~ Naylor

    Silva ~ VdV ~ Drenthe ~ Bannan ~ Moses

    Rooney ~ RVP ~ Sturidge

couple of options. which is best?

    A) Rooney > Aguero & Bannan > Eagles
    B) Bannan > Sess & Begovic > Ruddy
    C) Begovic > Westwood & Bannan > Brunt

    please help lads.

Id go with A, but Rooney will hurt the people who ditched him sooner rather than later.

What ya think of Evans to Assou-Ekotto?

      I’m playing:
      Vorm
      Kompany Brown

      (Subs) Given J.Enrique Simpson

if u can get jones i would go for him. i really wouldnt invest in spurs defence. man u are looking the most solid at the back just now and with clean sheets hard to come by this season hes your best bet esp with their fixtures and jones is a great attacking threat. even city are conceding for goodness sake lol. up to you end of the day but jones would be my choice.

shit sorry man totally misread ur post thot u said u can get jones. scrap what i said. if ur reluctant to go for spurs i would pay 0.5 more for walker as like jones he gets forward alot. tbh though looking at form and fixtures the usual clean sheet candidates like stoke, bolton etc are conceding like crazy so an attacking spurs defender woudnt be as bad as first presumed. other option would be to double up on swansea and get rangel or naylor.

i think vorm and westwood have the same home and away... its begovic for krul or dare say... robinson. if you want to keep your rotation.

if you are looking to play 3-4-3... which it looks like you are... you may want to upgrade bannan

i would suggest downgrading rooney even to chicharito if you wsant to keep utd... this would give u 2 to spend on upgrading bannan...

bale is probably your biggest hitter under 8.4... but if you like a bit in the kitty... then walters is a mid who has played every minute up front this year and is on penalties... also playing off of crouches knockdowns cant hurt...

VDV a doubt again, reminds me of last year when he was a constant doubt and ended up playing most times. Still hate the uncertainty and thinking I might downgrade him to Bale depending on what happens tomorrow.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. Would regret it if he played well and got good points this week. His goal record so far this season is pretty awesome. Gonna assess him this weekend and make a decision. Don't want to rush this.

I wouldnt sell VDV for Bale just yet depending on what happens tomorrow, I am considering having Bale, VDV and Ade. At the moment Spurs playing great attacking football, Man U are getting the 1-0 wins which doesnt equate to many points. Chelsea are out of sorts, Man City is rotation galore and you only need RVP from Arsenal.
