You know the drill. The Scout Selection Committee picks three players and Big Dunc’s way with words tempts you with our Friday night trio. Dunc is unavailable for selection this weekend, so I’ve stepped into the breach to deliver this week’s Differentials piece in his absence. Here’s who we have for your consideration…

Steve Morison

We’re backing the Norwich striker heavily this weekend. Drafted in to the “Ones to Watch” section of our official Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Scout article, he gets the nods here for his performances over the last few gameweeks.

The Welshman has found the net in each of his last three games, scoring against Blackburn, Aston Villa and Arsenal, and while the Canaries seem incapable of picking up a clean sheet, he’s been the one consistent source of points in Paul Lambert’s side of late.

Between gameweek 10-12, only Robin Van Persie has scored more goals than Morison, an indication of his form right now. Up next? A home clash with a QPR side that have conceded 11 goals in their last three road trips. Priced at 4.9 and with an ownership of just 1.3%, Morison looks good value to extend that scoring streak at Carrow Road tomorrow.

Phil Bardsley

Back in the Sunderland fold after a season blighted by both injury and suspension, Bardsley‘s presence in the Black Cats’ back line adds a definite solidity. A look at his four ninety-minute appearances so far this term shows just 2 goals conceded for Steve Bruce’s side, despite away clashes against Liverpool and Man United.

With Kieran Richardson shifted further forward, Bardsley seems to have been instilled as the first-choice left-back once again. His performance in the goalless draw at home to Fulham last week was encouraging from an offensive point of view, too, with plenty of goalscoring opportunities produced for team mates.

Wigan roll up to the Stadium of Light on something of a downer after last week’s controversial home draw with Blackburn and the Latics will hardly take heart in their away performances to date. Roberto Martinez’s side have netted just twice in six away games this season and Bardsley, priced at 4.8 in FPL and owned by just 2.1% of Fantasy managers, could prove a decent differential ahead of tomorrow’s Wearside showdown.

Theo Walcott

Ultimately, it may prove a false dawn but (whisper it) there’s a suggestion that Theo Walcott has developed a consistent streak of late. Prior to gameweek ten, the Gunners winger had never scored or assisted in consecutive weeks but he’s now achieved that feat twice in a row.

A goal in the 5-3 romp at Chelsea was followed by assists against West Brom and Norwich and, as Arsene Wenger’s side start to shift through the gears and climb up the table, Walcott is beginning to produce the goods with something akin to regularity.

Given his “previous”, there’s every chance he could crash and burn at home to Fulham tomorrow but with Robin Van Persie’s current form, any pass to the Dutchman’s feet is liable to result in an assist. With Gervinho providing plenty directness on the opposite flank, Walcott is no longer the only real source of pace up front for Arsenal and has almost doubled his haul for the season in those last three fixtures. Priced at 8.8 he’s hardly a cut-price option but with just 3.6% ownership and up against the attack-minded John Arne-Riise tomorrow evening, he may well prosper as the Gunners go looking for their sixth win in seven.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Walters probably playing midfield this week due to team injuries, but he's a PK taker.

go walters as swansea not guaranteed anything against villa (although poor mid-week) and walters is on pens for stoke and they have had no europa league to deal with this week which is a bonus for them as they have struggled after this recently!!!

I'd encourage you to bench Nani. The other two are on home and on pens, so that gives them a significant advantage over Nani. Nani's form has been bad, and while he's one of those players who could always score, he just doesn't get that many good chances. Not reliably at least.

+1 Swap Saylor for McAuley, Raylor for Santon/Simpson (whichever is first choice after tomorrow) and then Tierney for the best you can afford, but those changes should give you about 1.7 million which should nab you Walker, and if not BAE or Jags

tough call as they're both on pens, Stoke blow hot and cold, but if anyone is likely to score for them it'll be Walters, but Swans are good at home, so on balance I think you have it right.

If you have the funds also look at changing Bendtner to Ba (if not then to Helgs or Graham). I'd do those changes over 3 to 4 weeks unless you have a wildcard to play.

Yes, Ba is on my watchlist, gotta wait the unfavourable fixtures for Newcastle over first at least. I'm giving Bendtner one last chance like what the Gameweek Pick review said.

I'm currently picking Sinclair because of he's picked by Scout pick this gameweek. But I couldn't justify whether it's wise to pick him over Walters.

For some reason, I can't reply on my last post, my computer just keeps locking up. Anyway, I can't transfer RVP in for Rooney on his own, not got enough. Also Rooney and Best out for Morrison and RVP leaves me 0.1 short, so can't afford that either.

My team at the moment is:

    Vorm, Mignolet
    Wilkinson, Ward, Kompany, Simpson, Brown
    VDV, Ramsey, Silva, Mata, Drenthe
    Best, Rooney, Adebayor

Would any of these moves be worth a 4 point hit?

    A) Mignolet and Rooney OUT, Ruddy and RVP in.

    B) Ward and Rooney OUT, Monk/N Taylor and RVP in.

    C) VDV/Mata and Rooney OUT, ???? and RVP in.

Or, maybe would Hernandez be an option other than RVP. I could do Best and Rooney OUT, Graham and Hernandez in - which would actually leave me with a bit more money in the bank? Hmm. Decisions, decisions!

I have one free transfer and 0.7 in the bank, as always thanks in advance!

one free transfer, was thinking either

    A) rooney-> hernandez
    B) vdv -> nani
    C) save the transfer

    which one would you do?

    ruddy
    brown, wilkinson, jones
    walters, brunt, vdv, silva
    rooney, rvp, adebayor

    subs: hennesey, dyer, warnock, simpson,

I'd hold on Rooney (if I had him) - easy for me to say though when I have Hernandez.

I don't see Nani as a 'must have.'

Save it, rooney got as much chance of scoring as hernandez and as far as nani goes I think he could be rotation risk with young and valencia back, thought of vdv > bale?

I hate Gareth Bale. I hate that every time he has two games in a row we have to talk about him as if he's the best midfielder we've seen in the last thirty years, and I hate that every component of his face is massively out of proportion, and I hate that I don't have him in my team. The big mouth c*nt.

Does anybody know how i can find my team and my opponent in the Paddy Power Cup? I tried the F6/F7/F8 thing but a search option didn't come up so i'm struggling to find my team, lol. If someone could tell me an alternative way to find my team, i would be grateful. Or if someone could find it for me and tell me what number fixture i am it'd be even better. Either way, cheers. Jones: great fixtures, chance for assists: good bet, but uniteds sheets are anything but clean these days...
Brown: cheap, solid fixture line coming up, fair chance for clean sheets.
Shawx: if you wanna play the 'stoke are bound to get their defending right'-game with the rest of us, he grabs the odd goal too.
Santos: good games coming up, and in many ways is a cheaper Evra option, a "defender" aka winger that grabs assists (and goals at times)

Who do you think the dumbest manager in the EPL is? I say Paul Lambert (and I'm Scottish)

Man, that guy is thick as f*ck

That's it....pulled the trigger on Nani & Gabby

      Vorm
      ShawX Brown Enrique
      VDV Silva Lamps (VC) Sinclair
      RVP (C) Studge Gabby
      Subs – Wilko Simpson Moses

Worth getting any of these for a hit - Johnson (NOR), Caulker (SWA - heard he's unfit), Ruddy (NOR)?
