Ninety minutes is all that stands between us and the Gameweek 13 deadline, which means only one thing; the Saturday Surgery opens it’s doors once more….

Offering up your transfer dilemmas to our knowledge crowd is what it’s all about around this time. You’ll be looking for one of two things; a clear, majority verdict on how to play your hand, or just that one person to agree with your gut feeling and totally justify a punt. If nothing else, it’s one final sanity-check before hitting that irreversible transfer button.

The choice of captain this week doesn’t look like much of an issue however, as Robin van Persie stands heads and shoulders above any other contender in this week’s Captain’s Poll (centre of the home page).

That’s one headache we don’t have to worry about but, for 1,024 fantasy managers, there’s the added complication of Fantasy Football Scout’s Paddy Power Cup V getting underway. Round One of the ten-week competition starts today and, incase you missed it on Thursday, you can see the draw in full right here.

The Saturday Surgery chatroom has opened for the start of a long day of Fantasy Premier League action, so come in and get comfortable.

Considering Walcott or Nani in for VDV. Have RVP and Rooney as well, but the latter is likely on his way out next week and I wouldn't mind having two Arsenal attackers for now.

Only problem is I'll feel stupid if VDV does start and lose 0.3. Bah.
