A run of three home games in the next four for Blackburn Rovers elevates Paul Robinson in this week’s Watchlist rankings. Steve Kean’s side have been anything but reliable at the back this term but with Scott Dann returning at Stoke last Saturday and skipper Chris Samba approaching fitness, an increased solidity at the back seems likely.

A look at the season ticker shows there is further reason behind our reckoning. With Swansea’s Michel Vorm- the top-owned Fantasy goalkeeper- facing three away games in the following four, Robinson’s home fixtures dovetail perfectly with the Dutch stopper’s and may well appeal to those looking to bench Vorm in light of the Swans’ poor form on the road.

Indeed, Robinson comes face to face with Swansea at Ewood Park this weekend and Brendan Rodgers’ side, with just 3 goals on their travels, affords Blackburn a strong chance of their first clean sheet this term. A trip to manager-less Sunderland, followed by a home clash with West Brom offers plenty promise, with both opponents struggling for goals so far this season.

Robinson then hosts Bolton in a Lancashire derby and while Owen Coyle’s side have scored in all but one away fixture so far, their form has been far from healthy. Priced at 4.7 in Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Robinson is a budget-friendly option whose shot-stopping ability will no doubt help rack up the “save” points over the next few weeks as Rovers look to scramble clear of the relegation zone.

    Vorm
    Enrique, Jones, Gabbidion,
    Silva, Walters, Drenthe, VDV
    RVP(c), Adebayor(vc), Aguero

Subs – Ruddy, Raylor, Shawcross, Ferguson

    Should I :

    1. Drenthe > O’Hara this week, means I still have Aguero > Ba next.
    2. Drenthe > Allen or
    3. Keep FT for next GW and Aguero > Ba & Ferguson > ?

Keep it, team is ok this week (Raylor will not lose massive points if VdV doesn't play, then you can do Aguero to Ba and Fergie to someone like O'Hara if you want to strengthen your defence, or maybe a Theo if you don't.

      Hi guys

I need some advice please ?

I have Kompany and Richards, at a push who would you drop and why ?
Then, once decided who would you replace with Jones or Baines and why ?

Then lastly I have Ade and Bale but fancy some Ba or Sturridge action. What would you do in my position. I like to have a player from the top 8 teams.

In regards to the double game week, should I go 2 spurs 2 everton, 3 spurs 1 everton or 2 spurs 1 everton. also name the players as well and why THANKS..

Helps me out guys... 2 free transfers... Can't pick Chelsea or Arsenal... Man Utd's attacking slump really hurting me and my fringe players are shite:

    Vorm (Ruddy)

    P. Jones, Kompany, Enrique, Simpson (Wilkinson)

    Silva, VDV, Nani, (Allen, B.Johnson)

    Rooney, Suarez, Ba

Thinking of losing Rooney or Nani and spending the cash on improving a cheap mid - but who?!?

    Cheers guys

        Done Rooney > Hernandez
        Wilkinson > Jagielka

Like Everton's form, esp with their fixtures coming up, but couldn't afford Baines.

Now wait for Rooney to get red hot again and Welbeck to come back into the team from injury....

Moses and Sinclair are inconsistent FPL wise, Bendtner gets too much love for such little threat and you should think about VDV -> Bale, plus, I dont understand why you have Lescott. Other than that, good team.

Keep Moses. He finally got an assist last week and at 4.6 you can't swap him for anyone! Yeah VDV to Bale is a good switch. Bendtner to Ba or Long maybe? I'd get rid of Enrique but I'm a Liverpool supporter and don't rate him too highly.

Bit of a defensive conundrum this week I don't usually mess about but have a few fixture clashes...

Schwarzer or Vorm? I fancy a Monday night 0-0 bore draw so prefer Schwarzer myself? So that chooses Enrique too even though he's away..

So then two from Kompany, Shawcross, Simpson, Naylor... Kompany nailed on, Swansea don't travel well but Blackburn aren't great - potential 0-0? Newcastle home to Chelsea of which I have Sturridge in this week, Shawcross at Everton...? All potential cleanies? Tricky pick would be happy to have all five out this week if needs be!

Hmm think I'll go Kompany, Enrique, Shawcross, and hope Sturridge and Blackburn score. Just know if I bench Shawcross he'll score and whoever I play will concede! Cue Newcastle clean sheet home win, Blackburn-Swansea 0-0 draw, Liverpool-Fulham 2-2, and Shawcross getting sent off! 🙂

Moved Saurez out this week to get in Silva and Sturridge, sold Cleverley too. Fed up of waiting for Saurez to deliver. I might pay the price but surely my two players in have more points potential than Suarez plus a cheap mid of which I already have two.

personally Hernandez is a more reliable goalscorer than Suarez, but I'd maybe hold off until next week and then get either Hernandez or Ba (it's really a matter of choice, I'll have both, and no Ade) and then you can maybe use a free to upgrade Wilko to Jones

Am contemplating a 1 week VdV out transfer (I have 2 this week and will only use 1 so I would still have 2 next week (and since I haven't taken a hit in a while could even spend 4 points) to get him back in next week, transfer would be for Theo who has Wigan and is in form (1 goal and 3 assists in last 4 games)? I would have to buy VdV back at more than I paid, but all these price drops are killing, as it stands I'm only making .2 on what I paid, but a fresh Theo could destroy Wigan, only thing is I will be mightily gutted if Rafa actually starts.

might be a regular for Denmark but seriously don't think many would rate him

him premiership record is appalling - the guy simply not good enough to play for a top side

he would be lucky to get 10 goals this season in the league

Drenthe - has talents... but is he reliable? Not enough games to be able to get full judgement

Aguero is due a decent score based on his ICT, it's pretty likely it will come against Norwich.

I have decided to do a weekly post on the weeks bandwagons from the forum and keep a record of them dating back 4 or 5 gameweeks. As this is the first there is no history to draw upon, but we all know what some of the old ones were, Moses, Rooney, RVP, Drenthe, Bentner and VDV to name a few

    FFS Bandwagons of the week!

    GW 14: Ade, Bale, Baines

These are the names that have been bandied about the most and may possibly be seen as a 'must have'. Spurs attack is definitely in that boat and one could find themselves quickly left behind without Bale or Adebayor. Others have also looked to cash in on Baines who seems to have finally found his rhythm thanks to a kind run of fixtures. Will we look back in a month and decide these were good choices or could they turn out to be total flops? Time will tell but as always they look pretty good before the game week begins, will it turn out the way we expect?

    I

I wouldn't really call any of them bandwagons, in a sense. They're all in good form and are proven point scorers with great fixtures coming up. I'd be surprised if they don't score well over the next 4-5 weeks.

I tend to think bandwagons are more the likes of Moses (hero), Bendtner, etc. Cheap unproven guys who everybody jumps aboard for little reason.

Stick with Silva for Man City, too risky in my opinion, and Norwich isn't a walkover.

Bendy -> Yakubu could work, given the choice I'd rather have Yakubu in my team. Just depends if you can use the transfer elsewhere next week.
