We’ll then move on to the only televised fixture of the day as Wolves play host to a Sunderland side looking to impress Martin O’Neill before he takes the reins. A game I can’t bear to watch having brought in Jamie O’Hara and made the laughably rookie mistake of then forgetting to start him.

    anyone else want vermaelen in but scared it's a bandwagon? he cant score every game and he seems to have scored his quota for a while.. plus it's arsenal.. so clean sheets wont be easy to come by.. better to double up with Evra(already have jones) or get Vermaelen?

      +1, hes had an amazing start but as soon I transfer him in arsenal will remember that they are supposed to concede at least once every game, verm will remember he's a cb and not a striker...

      I've had him for 2 weeks... He can't keep it up at the same rate but given Everton's performance today he looks nailed on for a clean sheet next week, and he will still score his fair share for the rest of the season and is almost certainly rotation-proof. If you can afford him there aren't many better options around at the moment.

        idk... he's off to a flying start but arsenal generally concede at least one a game and he won't keep scoring at this rate... I want to bring in someone for Kompany but not sure if it should be enrique/verm/baines.. already have jones, simpson, ntaylor, de laet (wtf)

    Mid-priced midfielders - seems like 3 weeks ago there was a glut of options, none of whom have produced since. Need to replace Ramsey and/or Drenthe but nobody is screaming out at me to get in.
    Walters and Larsson, fixtures aren't great.
    O'Hara has a tough fixture this week, could consider the week after.
    Should I just get Bale and Moses in for the pair of them?

      I'm keeping VDV, I refuse to hop on the Bale-wagon. I've committed to avoiding it so far, and the later I bring him in, the closer it will be to his inevitable return to 2s and 3s. Also considering Welbeck.

      Yep, VDV all the way for me. Bale's form is very worrying as a non-owner however. Didn't think he had it in him to be honest. And i don't think its sustainable either or he will end the season with 300 points!

    Need some help chaps:

    1. Keep vdv and swap Ramsey out for similar mid.
    2. Straight swap Vdv to Bale
    3. Go crazy & swap Ageuro for Ba/Yak and use cash to upgrade Ramsey to Bale for 4 point hit or also swap Brown for P Jones for 8 point hit?

    Option 3 would mean i had vdv, Bale & Ade.
