Today’s big news was, of course, confirmation that Nemanja Vidic is ruled out for the season with a knee injury. The injuries rack up for David Moyes, with Jack Rodwell and Leon Osman both absent for the trip to Arsenal with hamstring strains.

Steve Kean will give late fitness tests to Ruben Rochina and Martin Olsson, Nigel Reo Coker is a big doubt for Bolton and Alan Pardew is considering handing French teenager Mehdi Abeid a first-team start in central midfield as injury-ravaged Newcastle make their way to Norwich, with the Magpies boss still crossing his fingers over Fabricio Coloccini.

Micah Richards remain a doubt for Man City due to a calf problem, with Pablo Zabaleta expected to fill in at right-back in the event of his absence as the leaders travel to Chelsea.

    Did VDV > Bale yesterday just before Bale went up in price.

      I was on here yesterday ranting and raving telling people not to do VDV > Bale, I don't think anyone listened! Don't worry though, I think Bale will play as he trained separately with Defoe and will have a late fitness test.

        Well, I didnt listen (I wasnt on here), but I did hold out and kept VDV.

        Thing is, when I bought VDV I knew full well that he is injury prone and a doubt every other week, but that over the season he will amass a lot of points, pretty much guaranteed. Why sell?

    I’m tired of talking about people talking about differentials as being players not often selected on FFS… Here is a list of decent* differentials(less then 10% ownership):

    3.9% ownership – Vermaelen
    6.7% ownership – Mata
    3.9% ownership – Lampard
    3.6% ownership – Sessegnon
    8.0% ownership – Sturridge

    To get a differential doesn’t mean to get a player no one else thinks is decent on FFS! So go forth and get GOOD players! To be honest, even if they have less then 20% ownership you’ll make up massive ground with them every week!

    *opinion may vary especially on Lampard!

      think i will still do it, the guy has scored 2 in 2, i think SAF rates him highly and just think even if he plays defence they can still get CS, if midfield he has the eye for goal at the moment plus CS potential
