Which midfielder is best to bring in for the coming "rotation period"? Already got Silva, Mata, Sinclair, Eagles and Drenthe. 0,2 in the bank.

I don't have Vorm in my team. He got a clean sheet, was the outstanding player in the game, got man of the match, saved an excellent penalty, inspired his team and got his clean sheet. If a goalkeeper has to do more to earn a bap I'd love to know what it is. I loled when I saw the allocations.

Yea the system should really take into account GK performance. Like 6 good saves and a penalty save, managing to keep a clean sheet, and not even a sniff of 1 BP. Really fuming at this...

According to the members area (2nd hand info) the goalie needs to do short passes to his defenders. These are, erm, obviously more valuable than penalty saves or man of the match...

I only put sturridge to play in h2h 1 as it would seem obvious enough he would have to play in all 3 for me and save me the hassle of typing it for each game. If that makes sense?

For Given holders these are the more budget priced keepers that have perfect rotation with Vorm at least till the next wildcard. Just home fixtures shown. Actual prices are about a week old so may have changed.

Vorm Cerny 4m perfect rotation all season, MANU at home next but good home fixtures to follow SUN-NOR-WIG - WOL
Vorm Hennesy 4.5m STO –NOR- CHE- LIV
Vorm Howard 5.5m NOR- SWA -BOL/tot dgw -BLA
Vorm Friedel 5.5m SUN- CHE- WBA/BOL dgw -WOL WIG
Vorm Krull 4.7m SWA- WBA- MUN- QPR- WIG good rotation till gw 22, reasonable fixture but with injuries in defence may have fewer cs
Vorm Al Habsi 4.5m CHE- LIV- SUN- MANC- EVE
Vorm Guzan 4.4m LIV- ARS- SWA- EVE to gw 22
Vorm Schwarzer 4.9m BOL- MUN- AR-S NEW - not bad 23 onwards for rest of season

In other words Schwarzer fixtures do not look too good. I've just done the VDV-Nani.
To add to other comments on VDV he is getting on, worried about his hamstrings and does not like to be rushed so Stoke Fulham not teams he likes playing against. Against teams that give him half a second on the ball he is at his best.

At my advanced age I know just how he feels!!!

I literally have no idea what to do next week for transfers. Could play four at the back and save a tranny, could get baines in for no hit, could get Nani/Mata and some numpty in for a hit. Going to take all my will power to resist a transfer.

Here's my team for next week with no transfers.

    Vorm

    simpson - Kompany- Jones-BAE
    Silva-Walters-Bale
    Ade-Sturridge-RVP
    (Verm, Ramsey, Dyer)

Yes it would be Verm and Ramsey out for Nani and a 4.8 defender....may go Evans as his rotation threat has receded. Baines is tempting...but would be for Verm and I think Verm will actually score more than Baines gwk16-19.

Pts hits can work. my mini league leader just got Larsson and Nani in for a 4pt hit.....and as a result is miles ahead.

        Really tricky week.

Verm out though doesn't sounds great though seems a little short sighted, 15 2 9 16 and 6 since his return!

Verm is great, but having him seriously weakens the midfield and christmas will demand a better midfielder I think. I'm in the annoying position of having an awesome def, but a fairly dire mid.

    2 Questions people.

    1) Is Caulker nailed on for Swansea now that he's returned from injury?
    2) Im thinking of ditching Kompany for GW17 for Caulker to fund Nani in for Walters that Gameweek.

    Leaving me with

    Nani. Mata. Silva. Bale.
Ba. Adebayor. RVP - as a front 7. How does that look.

      1) Hopefully, think monk might be benched, caulker is very good attacking at corners also.
      2) Up to yourself, sounds like it could be a good move since city havent exactly been great for the CS in the last while, may as well make the best of Nani's good form and Walters bad fixtures ahead

It's not a knee jerk, it's an analytical move. If this particular transfer was prudent last week, it remains so this week in my opinion, even more so given the relevant performances of the two players this past weekend. You've got to make some of these transfers quickly I think if you are going to have any success, even if it is a week after some others have done it.

I know the theory behind the transfer is perfectly acceptable, and not knee-jerky, the fact that I did pretty much after Adebayor took the penalty, however, is.. haha

I think the new bonus system is good in so far as it gets rid of the controversy that has dogged this game for years, when a panel of so called 'experts' (who more than likely had their own motives when it came to bonus points) were deciding baps.

But this new system also needs to take account of what actually happened in the game, and not become just another 'computer says no' type fiasco.

Maybe if it was weighted, i.e the ICT index counted for 80% of the BP assessment, with 20% coming from a panel who actually watched the game. I feel that if this was applied to the swansea game, Vorm would have been in the BP's.

Vorm was the hero for Swansea yesterday, he deserved baps ahead of danny graham and routledge in my opinion. if that penalty goes in, the game more than likely ends in a draw. Vorm should have gotten 3, never mind 1.

Similarly with the RVP situation, Wenger himself said after the game that they were running out of ideas and needed a bit of magic. RVP wins the game with one of the goals of the season and only gets 1, it just doesn't seem right.

Food for thought on a Monday morning anyway....

      2 things;
      1. Never, ever call Vorm a shit keeper! Even if he is up against City away, he is not a shit keeper, take it back, now!
      2. I have the same 2, tempted by Ruddy against a toothless Everton, especially as I am playing (and maybe captaining) Ba, but who knows what i'll do come Saturday!

Only bring him in if you're content with getting 2 points per GW for the next month or so, the fixtures are atroctious.
