The impossible has happened. After five long years, Michel Vorm delivered my first penalty save of my Fantasy Football management career. There could be no question – this latest episode had to be dedicated to Swansea’s Dutch stopper.

Ironically, it follows last week’s outing that found me lamenting my cursed luck. Vorm answered my prayer (or moans – Mark) – the monkey is finally off my back, and I can hardly contain my joy during this week’s session.

Elsewhere, the regulars are scattered around discussing the dubious merits of Jonny Evans, talk a hamstrung Van der Vaart, the shifting goalposts of the Fantasy Island Risk and Mark’s quest to win his own Cup competition. The selfish bugger.

        Forget the Watchlist... well, I don't take too much notice of it.

      That is the question, indeed. Tempted by a couple of replacements for him. Oddly though, if I keep I'll probably give him the armband. That way if he doesn't perform I'll be so annoyed I'll rage quit him out of my team.

      It's a luxury transfer to swap your cheapy midfielder who is playing every week. It's definitely on the cards for when I've got nothing else to do though.

      He isn´t in most teams for the points he gets isn´t he... and I believe there are worst issues to solve in everyones team, wich luckily isn´t my case 🙂 I´ve finally got rid of DeLaet last week and this week is Dyer who gets the chop.

    Problems
    a. my defence cant keep CS, but cant see many that do regularly
    b. need another strong m'fielder, but means selling Aguero, so no City
    c. what is point of box at bottom to be notified of responses when it never works?

        Hmm don't like the rotation much over the next few weeks, you could have points on your bench there. I also have Wilko so doubling up not ideal. Plus there is still the slight threat of Begovic, so any mistake by Sorensen and he could be out for a game.

        Not a bad shout except it uses a United spot. I've already got Jones and Nani so wouldn't be able to get Evans/Rooney/Hernandez etc.

    In particular I am not certain whether Baines (c) is my best bet and whether I should consider playing Allen ahead of Ramsey.

        I have to say I think it's disgraceful the way they're going on about the EL. Fair enough it's second best and the slagging is lovely but I thought The Great Manchester United were about winning trophies no matter what. All this shit about "I hope we get knocked out in the 1st round " is pathetic.

    Someone mentioning Samba earlier has made me check... Rovers haven't kept a single CS all season.

    I certainly wouldn't be buying a defender on the off chance he might get his head to the ball from a corner/freekick and score now and then.
