The impossible has happened. After five long years, Michel Vorm delivered my first penalty save of my Fantasy Football management career. There could be no question – this latest episode had to be dedicated to Swansea’s Dutch stopper.

Ironically, it follows last week’s outing that found me lamenting my cursed luck. Vorm answered my prayer (or moans – Mark) – the monkey is finally off my back, and I can hardly contain my joy during this week’s session.

Elsewhere, the regulars are scattered around discussing the dubious merits of Jonny Evans, talk a hamstrung Van der Vaart, the shifting goalposts of the Fantasy Island Risk and Mark’s quest to win his own Cup competition. The selfish bugger.

Come get some here.

Alternatively, stream away on the handy player below.

Agree with Granville, if Spurs get a penalty on Sunday - I fully expect VDV to take it, assuming that he's on the pitch.

There must have been an explanation for him not taking the penalty on Sunday, and him feeling his hamstring presumably was it.

P.S. Why did BAE have to play so many minutes tonight?! 👿

You'd have still been soundly beaten regardless. Unless Clattenlegend had given that penalty on Silva, and Dempsey hadn't gifted Scotty Sinclair 8 points....

Jamsie, i was checking the odds out earlier and if your confident your getting 8/1 on chelsea for the league. £20 bet with Boylesports gets you a free £40 so for your £20 you could get over £400 if they manage to do it.

Over-rated for an above-averaged EPL team but has impact for Everton...yes they are that broke for cash. You're not gonna tell me Leon Osman (or Bily) is a better player. I am an American and there was at least a 4 year period I swore Landon was pants, but now he's worked himself into a decent player.

Does anyone know if Swansea play a relatively high-line defensively or not???

This would be the best determining factor for Ba-band. a high-line against Newcastle would pretty much limit his headers to set-pieces, I can't see them winning the possession battle against the Swans.

Not great. O'Hara is back to his deeper role, where he inevitably scores fewer points.

Keep the faith with Rambo. You can't continue to play the Fabregas role in the Arsenal will such little returns. He's been playing well, and has been very unlucky on more than a few occasions.

(Re-post)lost on last page, Need help!
    Option (a)Sinclair-Nani (-4)
    or
Option (b)Wait until next gw and do Sturridge-Rooney

My dilema is (a) would leave me Chelsea coverage, (b) I think Rooney will be the main point earner for United.
Rest of team is linked. All advice is appreciated! Cheers!

Already transfered him out for Sturridge for this GW, plan was to bring him back in for next gw. Debating getting Nani instead

          Ermmm.. okay. Odd move.

To be honest I wouldn't be too keen to lose either Sinclair or Sturridge - I think both will score well over the next few weeks, but out of the two options I'd probably get Rooney back.

Thanks for your reply! It was a gamble, I know, I just wanted Sturridge for the Wigan game, I don't expect Rooney's price to rise at all, no problem to bring him back in. Rest of my team if fine and didn't want to waste my transfer.

So u took rooney out for an away game and want to bring him back for an away game. Surely get him back for Wigan instead?

Just borrowing Sturridge for the Wigan game. I think Rooney (a) to Ful, Will do better than Sturridge (a) to Tott

Should be good, as I don"t see Rooney Rising more than .1, and might even gain .1 if Sturridge rises again. Thanks!

either is a good transfer but imo roonster has more potential to score big, especially now he has confidence and playing up top

Then what would you do with Wilko, remove on WC? Or keep both and hope one starts!

I may get Sorensen next week depending on the whole debarcle with Drenthe

No other transfers necessary (depends on Drenthe) but I'll need all my squad for this period.

Unsure on Blackburn. Yak will play uptop, but Hoilett and Rochina to return, Formica should play behind Yakubu, Pedersen and N'Zonzi as well as Dunn in the mid. Kean surely can't drop Vuckevic after scoring at Sunderland?
