    Miaga has failed his medical so wont be joining Newcastle. His agent is shocked that he failed, as he claims Miaga is in perfect health.
    Wouldnt surprise me if with Ba doing so well, and Best, AmeobiX2 and HBA as other options they decided not to spend the £7m on him, and use it elsewhere (a defender hopefully, but knowing Ashley it will probably go into the cake fund).
    Not seen enough of him to be disappointed or pleased, I suppose he was off to the ACON anyway.

          What do you make of Pardews chat re Tiote. IMO he should be saying he's not for sale at any price, not, ooo go on then make us a silly offer and we'll think about it. Dangerous game he's playing.

          PS. I don't think he's united bound, there's no way the stingey ol glazers will pay 20m for a player when they can get younger international players in europe.

            Well he's caught between a rock and a fat place. On one hand he still has hordes of fans who really would be gutted if he is sold, on t'other he has a chairman who would bite your hand off for £20m.
            Problem with Pards is he does like the press conf too much, always nattering in the media. I like him, and he isnt as bad as Redknapp or Warnock but he should sush a bit.
            Ultimately Tiote was bought for £3.5m, if an offer came in around the £20m mark the following season then thats good business, Id be gutted (esp if he went to you or Chelsea, or worse again Liverpool) but I'd understand.

              Chelsea doesn't make any sense to me, they need an attacking midfielder not a destroyer with Essien back soonish too. Utd can't afford 20m. Arsenal don't need him. Liverpool? Hmmm maybe especially after they lost Lucas.

      I don't think you lot are missing much, I haven't seen anything to suggest that Miaga would be worth £7 mil.

      Newcastle could do with another forward though. If Ba gets injured, your forward line is industrious, but blunt.

          Nope, all that deadline nonsense at the start of the season was the straw that broke the camel's back (when the camel is a metaphor for my mini-league), and I can't really pluck up the motivation to fly completely solo in FPL.

                Basically everyone was assigned a nation and a seed rank based on their overall rank, the rest is straight forward. I was gutted I ended up as France though, I should have rigged it!

        Howzitgoin MF, long time no read and all that. I was hoping that Ben Arfa could add a little something to the attack, nowt much so far but I still have hopes.
        Not the biggest Best or Ameobi fan I must say, so wouldnt mind another coming in. Centreback is where we really need strengthening though - we are only one player away from Perch. That is unacceptable.

    I’m going to replace the ‘two week punt’ by Nani after two weeks. Or should I save my transfer this week? Larrson has Spurs and QPR away. Both are difficult.
