The EA Sports Player Performance Index scores are out and the Fantasy Premier League have now updated their bonus points accordingly. Here’s how the bonus breaks down for gameweek sixteen, with more than a few surprises in store…

Please note, the Aguero assist for Silva’s goal was removed following review. It was adjudged that the City striker did not get a touch on Balotelli’s cross but that the Arsenal defender diverted it into David Silva’s pass. The assists awarded to Mario Balotelli which boosted his EA PPI and saw him claim the two, relegating Pablo Zabaleta back down to one.

        Having sprained my ankle myself and not been able to put weight on it, I don't think he can fully recover in a week, unless he plays at less than 100% and is heavily strapped. But...he's a professional athlete, maybe his body has a quicker recovery time than us normal beings!

      Without him they were very narrow. Now Lennon is out I think they'll play him to exploit Bosingwa's general crapidity. Without Bale Chelsea will be too solid down the middle for Spurs to score.

    I am chasing a guy who captained Sturridge, and that lucky bastard got 9 with him.

          Sturridge, RvP and Adebayor - my strikeforce and I'm very happy, get's annoying that I can't have Rooney/Aguero or Suarez or Ba but I think value for money those three are tops.

    Hi guys. Suggestions please. Squad is:

    Vorm Given (injured)
    Kompany Jones Enrique Raylor Hall (never plays)
    Silva Bale Nani Eagles Allen
    Ade RVP Sturridge

    Have 0.7 banked and 1 free transfer. Thinking of banking the transfer this GW. Eagles to Drenthe would be one move to consider, but should I spend the freebie on Given or Hall? With rotation likely over Xmas, having Hall could pose a problem but my three expensive defenders plus Raylor will see me through the next 4 GWs. I'm thinking of leaving Given to rot.

        Ok thanks everybody. I agree that the captain choice is most important and I had a hunch to. Cheers Random guy, but I was posting whole week and nobody supported me, so that is why I posted in that way.

        And to all that are looking for differential I will tell you my opinion. The captain is the best differential all the time. Don't worry about others.

    1) Not planning on any transfers this week (will look at Baines + Rambo > VDV + 4.5 defender the week after) that look right?
    2) Play Rambo or Smalling?
    3) Play Cerny or Vorm?

        Yes, but last year he was paired up front with Defoe and Defoe got sent off and given a 3 match ban on Boxing Day meaning 'Arry had no other choice but to play VDV and Pav together in all games that followed.

      Three Newcastle with one captained is overkill. If they have a bad day it's like one third of your team on two points from just the one game. I'm not saying play BAE but maybe don't captain Ba or maybe play brown or Vorm to spread the risk a little.

          It's a risk worth taking, snuck into the top 10000, tempted with Silva more than RVP but gonna take a chance on Jones. Also was in 2 minds playing Ade, just don't see him getting by Chelsea. It was Ade or Ramsey and its about time Ramsey stepped up to the plate.

    Climbed into the top 100k this week. My highest position ever 🙂 Anyway, moving onto the next GW. I have x1 FT & .5 in the bank.

    O'Hara / Silva / Nani / Larrson (Dyer)

    RVP / Ba (C) / Ade

    I'm thinking I should really be putting Kompany back in the mix. That kinda money sat on the bench for a home tie with Stoke seems like madness. As for using my transfer, tempted to keep it and have x2 next GW. Unless anyone can recommend where I could use it? Advice appreciated. 🙂

    Ok lads lets talk about importance of the bench. I am scared of mine. Have NDyer, Naylor and Wilko (why of why I bought him for Simpson ). 2 of them aren't playing and having Bale, Nani, Jevans, Jones even scares me a little bit. I like my first 11 for the next 4 or so, but considering bringing Moses and putting to the bench. I tend not to make transfers for a bench player, but now considering. But if he delivers 2pts and Dyer delivers 1pt, that is not a good transfer according to me. And he is playing against the best defense too.

    Thoughts?
