      I dont get the Chico love at all. I would not even touch a 10 mil player with a chance of getting rotated every game. You might as well get Balotelli who is on penalties.
      Saying that if you dont have Sturridge you should get him in with Valencia.

          Id get Ade right away. I know united forward is tempting right now. But rooney is really the only man to own there currently. Unless you can do Drenthe and Rooney in?

          Othervise Valencia and Ade is the safest bet IMO.

    Need a hand figuring out my two FT's before monday

    Would love to pick up Nani, but would at the very least have to lost Bale and a defender.

      I'd do Jones to Shotton (you already have Evans and an expensive defender in Verm) and upgrade Yak to someone who isn't on a terrible team - Sturridge?

    Vuckic worth a punt? Impressed by what I saw on MOTD. Obviously Cabaye will come back into the side but I didn't know if Vuckic could maintain his place.

      No Pards has said cabaye will come back because he gives newcastle stability

      when tiote goes ACON theres a small chance but then again tioite is defensive and vuckic is attacking so will be looking to gosling guithre and even abeid to fill the defensive centre midfield role

      Saying all that vuckic could come off the bench but he just presents a massive risk
      especially with other prospects on the bench which are more likely to come on which include ben arfa, sammy ameobi, and even shola

          God i hate obertan all he does is enthuastically chase down lost causes
          the rest of the time he losses the ball or delivers a shit cross
          I doubt it tho cause pards loves obertan because he does well defensively
          I think ben arfa is more likely to play instead of obertan if the chance arose

    I have 1.2 in the bank. I am conscious i am looking too far ahead too the DGW. My plan for GW20 is Rooney & Brunt > Ade & Bale. I can only afford this right now, with a gain of 0.1 on rooney so far a rise from bale is negated by a rise from rooney a double rise from bale would mean i cant do it. What do you think of the plan? or should i focus my attention to getting shot of Dyer and Wilkinson?

        Yeah I thought that too but I need to downgrade something to get Bale in. Don't really want to take Silva/Nani/Mata out so upgrading Sinclair allows me to get Bale in without doing that.

      Can we not make transfers during the DGW? I don't think Mata is going to bring the goods this year. If you have Nani and Silva you are great. I would pick two of your high midfielders and sell one>Bale and upgrade your forward line. For example drenthe+Ba/Sturridge would be far more equitable for you than Mata+Graham. Thats what I think. Also you have Mata down twice.

    If I have a midfielder say GP or Valencia, and they are recruited to play defense and the team gets a CS does the player get the 6pts as if he were a defender or not?

      Nope valencia is classified as midfielder so he gets 1 point for CS. Marc wilson is prime example. Plays LB for stoke, in FPL is classified as midfielder.

    My thoughts are turning towards the double gameweek and I am interested about the opinion of some of you guys. I'm not sure its wise to stick players in who you wouldn't have gone for in the first place simply because its a dgw. I think I might stick with a balanced approach and go maybe for Jags, Drenthe from Everton and Bale, Ade from Spurs.

    Whats your thoughts guys?

            What i mean is spurs wont score 4 or more to completely offset hibbert points. Even if he gets 2+2 its still decent for a defender.

      That's pretty much what I'm doing. Any more than 2 Everton is surely overkill. I've got Friedel already so I'm sticking with him, maybe some Spurs defensive coverage?

      I'm going 3 Spurs, 1 Everton. Everton will get one CS max in the DGW and probably none in their next two but could score a few vs. Bolton. Bale and Ade are standard and I can also see 2 Spurs cleanies in the DGW.

      Drenthe, BAE, Ade, Bale for me.
