    I'm on 48, my cup opponent is on 47. I guess it's logical of me to think that it's going to come down to baps. I have Ade and Ba and he has Modric and Kompany. I have a sneaky feeling Kompany is going to grab all 3 and punish me for my "no 6.0+ defenders" philosophy. It would be typical if Modric got the 2, too.

    The best part of it all is, I'd take a tie. I'd go through if we tie on points.

    Just about scraped it through thanks to Ade's late efforts I think. Going to have to stomach the Bale rise and give Larsson one more week, then balls to the wall with Ade, Bale and VDV all in there for the double.

      Ba to Ade is a good move with Spurs DGW and Ba's tough fixtures and then African nations.
      Maybe Kompany to BAE and then Ba to Ade.

    ive got jones smalling walker and enrique in defence.2 didnt play so i had 2 scoring defenders.my other defender mccauley was third sub .brunt was first sub for 3 points and johnson of norwich was my second sub.i expected him to come on for 10 minutes at the end for his usual 1 point but amazingly he didnt so im assuming mccauleys on for six?.my question is what happens if you only have 2 scoring defenders and other subs before your defender sub?.are the other subs allowed on as you are supposed to have 3 defenders minimum?.im asking this because i know in the past ive had subs not come on because of strange formation reasons.does anyone understand what im saying lol??!!

      This will leave you with Jones, Walker and Enrique in defence, which is allowed by formation rules.

      At which point Macauley will come on for Jones.

        Team looks very good to me. Think you need Valencia? I'd probably keep Drenthe for the DGW, maybe even save a transfer too.

          I am want to keep him but I am scared of players getting rested and not having enough fire power to cover. Valencia gives me great cover unless Ferguson decides to play Park. You think Drenthe is enough cover considering he plays away to WBA looking solid defensively at home.

          BAE and Enrique on the bench is crazy but my guess they will come on instead of RVP and someone else.

          My other transfer idea is Al Habsi > Howard for DGW.

          This week is a low scoring GW.
          So even if you've had a total 'mare, you have probably only lost 30 points on people who had Bale or Berba.
          So it could be a lot worse.

      I'd assume no.

      If a player scores 1 goal then captaining surely doesn't make that goal count twice; rather the armband doubles the pts given for the goal.

      so you're dropping in the league and your solution is to take Jones out? I'd sooner loose Mata tbh in a straight swap for Bale, this should give you just shy of a million to swap Dyer for Jarvis or Brunt.

      you're 3rd defender will come on, because you need at least 3 defenders in the team regardless of injuries etc
