Arsene Wenger is giving little away regarding the likelihood of Robin Van Persie’s start against QPR. Meanwhile, Alex Ferguson prepares to patch up his defence once again ahead of the visit of Blackburn, with Chris Smalling set to miss out and Phil Jones in line to return.

There’s no such injury concerns for Roberto Mancini, who will surely be shuffling his pack like a demented Paul Daniels ahead of two matches in the space of six days. The rest of the Premier League managers are left to play with far more limited options, but Fantasy managers still look set to enter a gameweek of uncertainty – nervously scanning their bench to assess the reserves on standby.

All the team news ahead of tonight’s 7.30pm Fantasy Premier League deadline has been collected and collated over in our Team News section, along with our predicted lineups.

We will update this as we go, keeping you informed on the latest via our Twitter feed.

The Scout Picks are up next…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Ok, say you could have any midfielder under 6.5, just for this week, who would it be? Only other catch is he cant be from MU or TOT. Here's my top three right now:

    Ramsey (BLK)
    Etherington (WIG)
    Brunt (EVE)

I have my suspicions with Evans but, all the reports and comments from Ferguson point to him being out, at least for the Blackburn game. Therefore, we have to accept that this is the most likely outcome. If it turns out that he's fit - then it will be Ferguson's smokescreen to blame.

They do help with the flags and Mark just told you how reliable they are.

Fergie said he was out for 2 weeks after the Wigan game. This was the last piece of definitive information on Evans. That is what they are going on and why a red flag has been put up.

It's up to you whether or not to believe it but as I said, plan for him being out just to be safe.

6.7M available for a defender and the options are:

Walker in preparation for the DGW (to make 3 TOT in my squad)?

Good chance I'll only have 10 players this week yet I'm still reluctant to use a transfer as I want two freebies next week.
My defence is Vermaelen, Enrique, Evans (inj) and on the bench Wilkinson (?) and Caulker (unavailable)

The obvious move would be Wilkinson to Shotton, but Needlevor (the only Stoke fan I've noticed on here) says there is a good chance Shotton will make way for Wilkinson this week. Besides after the last two Stoke defenders Ive had (Woodgate and Wilkinson) have been horror signings I am really not keen on getting another.

The other option for me is Senderos. Not keen on the fixture this week, but Fulham do have good fixtures in the near future.

So would you hold off the transfer this week and hope Evans or Wilkinson plays, or make a transfer which will probably cause a 4 point hit next GW.

analyzing the last game when pennant came in for woodgate and shotton dropped to RB, i think pennant will start along with woodgate this week, coz shotton and pennant together are too much attack for pulis's taste.

      Multiple reasons, For starters
      1) You have kept vdv for so long that you have got attached to him
      2) VDV is due a big score, and I'd hate to be u if you just missed out on it
      3) You missed the bale price rise, so you might as well wait and watch
      4) He is now a differential
      5) And as others have pointed out losing money, points- all that could change in a single gw though

All this talk of RVP and Silva being rested this week. I find it interesting that Sturridge hasnt been mentioned in same way?

He may give the midget a breather and play Torres (shock!!!) only reason being is that wont he lost the drog in a week or 2 and unless they buy... Sturridge will need play.

Also same reason for Nando, game time needed ahead of Drogs departure???

Nah it wouldn't shock me, but I'm not expecting it to happen. tbf bought him in the knowledge he may miss some games, will take that with the price tag. Won't be captaining him at any point either so it's all good!

This is going to be one of those weeks where the --------- go with Rooney/Nani (c), and the --------- go with RVP (c) but get Rooney/Nani in as vice captain.

Insert your own words in the blanks, I'm going with 'clever people' and 'idiots'. 😉

thoughts on startin vorm or kenny this week?

kenny playing arsenal. however if rvp doesn't start could end up with the cs
vorm playing spurs who are playing well and scoring quite a lot. however swansea are good at home and vorm has come up with some big games when least expected

Can I have some help please? Started off so, so well but am going backwards now.

Here's my selection for this week. What I'd love to know is people's opinions on starting line-up for this week and who my captain should be. Really worried about RVP being rested...

    4-3-3

    Ruddy (Westwood)

Hibbert - Shotton - Richards - BAE (Enrique)

Walters - Bale - Silva (Ramsay, Osman)

    Adebayor (V), Sturridge, RVP (c)

i wouldnt play hib, he obviously wnt score (coz he never did in his career) and his assists are as rare as comet halley
toss a coin between ramsey and osman.
shotton is not guaranteed to start but he will take part in the game if he starts on the bench so he will hurt, id go with enrique since u dnt have ba to cancel out his returns
rvp is a good choice but if u want to play safe go with bale/sturr capt

        Cool

So think we're now going with:

        Ruddy (Westwood)

Enrique - BAE - Richards (Hibbert, Shotton)

        Bale (c) - Silva - Walters - Osman (Ramsey)

        Sturridge - RVP - Adebayor

        Better?

Everyone seems to think RVP is 100% going to be rested.

The other 2 are also rotation risks.. but Nani seems the more likely to score points (rooney in a central role would worry me)

I'm sticking with RVP... everytime I listen to FFS I seem to drop points.

Bale is at 117% to rise again tonight in TotalFPL whereas on FISO he needs another 10,000 transfers in?? That's a big difference. I was going to swap Nani to Bale for the DGW. Do I need to do it tonight to beat the rise?

            Am I going mad?

Fiso shows his target NTI 25403 and his actual NTI at14812. How is this 116%?

TotalFPL show him at 117% as I stated..

            am I misreading?
