Just a quick reminder to those competing in the Paddy Power Cup V – Round of 16 that the Quarter-Finals will take place over Gameweek 21, and not Gameweek 20, the deadline for which is tomorrow.

The Last 16 results will be published later in the week, along with the all-important Quarter-Final fixtures.

Is it worth taking a -4pt hit to do Brown > Clark?

I missed Sunderland game, so used my 1FT to bring in Brown for J.Evans yesterday before realising he was injured!! I wanted to bring in Warnock, but was 0.1 short, and completely overlooked Clark.

    Team for GW20 is currently:

    Vorm
    Brown Walker Jones
    Bale Silva Nani Walters
    Adebayor RVP Sturridge

Subs; Ruddy Moses Caulker Jose Enrique.

which 3 of these defenders should I play? and (quite relevant), what substitute priority among the others?

    Kompany (Liverpool, home)
    Smalling (Newcastle, away)
    Enrique (Man City, away)
    Caulker (Aston Villa, away)
    Simpson (Man Utd, home)

Smalling is a doubt, but consider him and based on fixtures here regardless please

If there was a frisking the fixtures article right after the dgw what would it say for

The Strong- Arsenal,Aston Villa, Blackburn, Chelsea, Wba,
    Also to Consider-Newcastle,QPR
The Weak- Everton, Man Utd, Swansea, Wigan
Also be Wary of- Man City, Tottenham

This is of course in the prep for the wc. Is this somewhat correct?

I'd agree wholeheartedly. I have Arsenal & Chelsea coverage (RVP & Sturridge) but will be looking to add the rest. In my 'watch list' I have:
Villa - Clark, Albrighton & Ireland
      Blackburn - Samba & Yakuba
      WBA - Shorey

Any else I should add to that group? Don't really need a striker 🙂

Clark is obviously a good cheap player but a lot of people are also considering Warnock from Aston Villa. I might get Mata from Chelsea.
The priority is of course getting rid of the everton players. The team plays crappy football most of the time.
I hope they update the official watchlist soon.

Got Allen in who had been doing well , and all he has done is get twos. !!

    Vorm ( Ruddy)
BAE, Jones, Enrique ( Senderos, Evans)
    Drenthe, Osman, Silva, Nani Bale
    RVP, Adebayor (Ba)

Sir Willis Hide has once again posted the same question on a new page.

the RUMOURS are that Royston was ill not injured.

if that was a virus or self inflicted after-math from a New Year party is anyones guess.

the fact remains that Drenthe has not been playing regularly and Donovan has turned up with limited time and will be ustilised first (imo).

Krul home to a wounded utd. Cerny may not be in for QPR.

Raylor was tactically subbed off last match, a sign he may not be preferred agaisnt utd.

Shotton lost his starting gig last match.
