waste of budget imo - go with BAE
i see he played 45 and 71 min though recently
first one was tactical. we changed to 3-5-2 (wing-backs) away to stoke for their ridiculously narrow pitch, and with Bale for the left wing, it was natural for BAE to go.
71 was because of a slight knock, with Danny Rose coming on
I'd rather have BAE than Walker even if they were the same price.
Walker runs really fast but his crossing is wayward and he often hits the first man anyway. BAE is smarter and has a better early cross so he doesn't need to beat his man to create chances.
He's a bit of a headless chicken really, Walker.
Well if you forget English bias BAE is your man cheaper and currently better player then Walker.

My defence is ridden with a combination of bad fixtures and injuries at the moment so I'm leaning towards BAE, but as you say VDV is extremely tempting with his ability to catch form and go on a crazy run.

I need to sell either Enrique, Jones or Kompany to get BAE in.
And both Jones and Kompany are really season keepers.
If I sell Enrique, I´ll lose 0.5 (bought at 5.1, selling at 6.0).

You're not getting anything good for that, so I'd look at someone with decent fixtures in the short term as you'll have the chance to sell in a couple of gameweeks anyway if you want to with the WC.
I suppose you'll never really need to play him and just want someone who can fill in when needed. How about a crazy punt on Faurlin?
