Perhaps late to the party, but the BPs in the Spurs game are slightly baffling.
BAE has the best defensive stats, an assist, and yet he's the only Spurs defender to get nothing, and his PPI is much worse than the others. Only one shot off target too, the same as Agger who got a BP for his assist (and that was in a game where there were 3 goalscorers).
Clearances was the one stat where all the other did better, perhaps that is massively important then?
Shots off target count for a lot of minus PPI. Agger's stats were flawless, bar the OG of course.
