It seems like only yesterday. In truth, it almost was. Another Matchday Surgery chatroom opens up to collect our desperate cries for help and a smattering of smugness, ahead of yet another gameweek deadline…

The double gameweek creates new puzzles of course. Hopefully we’ve helped to unravel some of the dilemmas via our usual “Scouting the Doubles” articles. The Scout Picks are also up and available, while the Captain Poll is now concluded with Tottenham’s assets reigning supreme. Aside from all this, we’ve worked tirelessly to collect all the team news and collate that for you in the Team News section. Go figure.

Plenty to ponder then. Plenty to question and discuss in the Matchday Surgery prior to 11.30.

    I was going to do Ba to Adebayor, but seeing as Sturridge is doubtful should I just take him out for Ade instead?

      only if you have no bench help at all. sturridge will still have value with good fixtures to come and may play yet, whereas ba's prolonged unavailability is a known fact.

    2. Kompany to Baines worth a 4 point hit and -.3m loss. Was thinking of replacing him with Jones when wildcarding anyway
    3. Sturridge worth shipping out for a hit, I would bank .5m or loss .5m depending how you look at it.
    4. Will most people use their jan WC this week.

      Apparently he was only sick and should be available. Mignolet is still nursing an injury so isn't fully fit imo. Could be 50/50 on who starts

      I am tempted by lindgaard. One more start for him and i will do it. Put him to start and if he does not Vorm or Ruddy kicks in. I think swansea wont keep so many clean sheets any more
