Our Player Projections in the Members Area have now been updated for the half-season period. These now offer our view on the predicted returns from Gameweek 21 to the end of the season, giving some further assistance for those still to play their January Fantasy Premier League wildcards.

These projections use various factors, including past performance and historical data, the difficulty of fixtures facing each player and current form. Members can sort the table by any of the data columns, including total points for the season, projected points from Gameweek 21 onwards and projected value based on these returns.

They will be updated leading up to the Gameweek 21 deadline this weekend, should any injury or transfers come to light – the only pending transfer currently included in the tables is Gary Cahill’s seemingly inevitable move to Stamford Bridge. Just to be clear, these projections won’t be updated after the Gameweeek 21 deadline. Much like the pre-season projections, they provide a snapshot view.

As mentioned earlier, half-season memberships are now available for just £10. This will give users access to these projections along with the Opta player and team statistics, the full season ticker and exclusive Members articles.

Click here for further details of what’s on offer.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Gary Cahill will wear number 13 for Chelsea.

Over double the amount of clean sheets he's kept in his career.

No, not for the price difference
Bramble might not be fit for couple of weeks anyway

"All the people think we have a lot of players but we have 19, plus keepers. It is not a big squad."

I'm sorry but that is stupid to think of now. I'm hardly a genius but if I had £250M to spend on players I'd make sure my squad was big enough to handle four injuries.

That looks like 21 players not counting GK's, Hargreaves (why bother), Tevez (in effect) or Razak (19).

Onouha's back at the club... Never heard of Nimely who's only 20 .. maybe Mancini forgot those two.

He's not all that wildly out, I think.

Amazing though that they also have Adebayor - the top striker at Spurs and couldn't even get in the squad at City.

Nice, although Ruddy offers nothing apart from the weekly hopes of more than 2 points being consistently dashed. For the price though very little to choose, maybe swap Caulker for De Laet and get Mignolet in

      Van Nistelrooy, I liked him.

Probably not the player I'd choose to train youngsters to do that tbh, doubt Ruud has ever pulled that trick off in a match in all his career

Until I can see if Rodgers plays him, I'm not sure. But if he gets game time, well worth the punt for a fifth place midfielder at 5.0!

So should I do Senderos to Kelly to allow me to get Brown, or should I forget Sunderland and go with Shotton or should I get rid of Smalling as I have Lindegaard and have both Brown and Shotton while keeping Senderos giving me 0.9 to upgrade 5th mid if needs be which is currently Sigurdsson.

      ... that is the question.

Broadly, I've got a lot of confidence in O'Neill. Sunderland will be unpredictable for another season or so though until he's drilled them enough. Equally Fulham seem a bit unpredictable at present too. Usually good at home though.

    So the Ba replacements are....

Sturridge- Priced at £7.4m with a total of 84 points Sturridge is a cheap way into the Chelsea attack. the Chelsea forward has 9 goals and 3 assists in the 15 BPL games he has featured in. And with Drogba off to the African Cup of Nations Sturridge could find himself playing in a more central role rather than wide on the right giving him a further chance of FPL points he is the front runner as a Ba replacement.
    Next 5 fixtures- SUN(H),NOR(A),SWA(A),MU(H),EVE(A).

Odemwingie- With Chris Brunt out for 2 months it's time for Odemwingie to step up to the plate and become as key a player for West Brom this season as he was the last. Priced at £7.2m with only 53 points. But with some favorable fixtures and set-piece duties to attend to Odemwingie is one to remember when selecting that final forward spot.
    Next 5 Fixtures-NOR(H),STO(A),FUL(A),SWA(H),WOL(A).

Agbonlahor- Gabby was looking a hot fantasy prospect after showing a good streak of form at the start of the season but has died down during the winter period with no goals in his last 7 BPL games. But being priced at £6.9m and with many looking for a differential Agbonlahor could be your man.
    Next 5 Fixtures-EVE(H),WOL(A),QPR(H),NEW(A),MC(H).

Yakubu- The Yak is a cheap replacement for the outgoing Ba priced at only £6.1m and with 12 goals to his name already this season he has shown form all the way through the season so far with big point hauls including 21 points at home to Swansea after 4 goals and 3 bps. Despite his form you must consider that the Blackburn midfield don't provide the best service for the Yak.
    Next 5 Fixtures-FUL(H),EVE(A),NEW(H),ARS(A),QPR(H).

RMWT if you can be bothered-

    Vorm (Kenny)

    J Evans----BAE----Simpson (Shotton, Kelly)

    Bale----Dempsey----Silva----Sessegnon (Dyer)

    Yakubu----RVP----Aguero

Sure you have seen many along the same lines but wouldn't mind an opinion. 1.4 in the bank. Valencia/McClean available instead of Sess/Dyer but I'm quite keen on Sess tbh.
