League leaders Manchester City travel to the DW Stadium tonight, looking to put breathing space between themselves and their city rivals. The Dugout Discussion chatroom opens in anticipation of the conclusion of Gameweek 21.

Both team sheets have been handed in, and here is how they line-up on this horribly cold Monday night…

Wigan XI: Al Habsi, Stam, Alcaraz, Caldwell, Figueroa, McArthur, McCarthy, Gomez, Crusat, Rodallega, Moses.

Man City XI: Hart, Zabaleta, Savic, Lescott, Clichy, Milner, Barry, Nasri, Silva, Aguero, Dzeko.

Roberto Martinez continues with Albert Crusat, who manages to shake off a slight back injury to start tonight. James McArthur begins for only the third time in the league this season, replacing Mohamed Diame who is unavailable thanks to the African Cup of Nations.

Manchester City are forced to partner Jolean Lescott and Stefan Savic at centre-back once more, despite a very ropey performance in their defeat to United last weekend. Elsewhere, David Silva is restored to the starting line-up, Sergio Aguero partners Edin Dzeko up front, and Pablo Zabaleta replaces Micah Richards.

    Mancini is fast becoming one of my most disliked managers, that's the second game in three he has waved a red card at the ref and in the game in between he complained about Rooney doing the same thing. Tosser

        Even if it is a clear red you shouldn't harass the refs really, it's not going to change their mind and they should be allowed just to get on with it.

      Since when did it become the crime of the century to wave a card?? I see no difference to waving your arms and shouting at the ref. Seems to have become 'he's waved an imaginary card, thats it then'

        Personally think having a go at the ref is a bit out of order too, should try to cut that sort of stuff out of football. Doesn't add anything and it mustn't make the referees job any easier.

      Slightly put off. He should've had a goal after his mazy run, and had more opportunities to score. There aren't many other options, and I still think he's a good option.

        I think it was too far out to be classed as a clear goalscoring opportunity. It was definitely an opportunity though.

            It's a goalscoring opportunity but not a clear one imo. Who knows if anyone else would have got back, whether aguero would have kept it under control etc etc

            He probably would have but I don't think you can call it a clear GSO

      Wigan were woeful. Save for Dzeko stealing the ball off Aguero, Man City would've gone on to bag a hatful.

          Not at all. First half performance was much worse than the second, but still Wigan looked like they haven't played together before, while leaving themselves wide open at the back. It's probably down to a lack of confidence, which is understandable.

          Man City didn't even break into a sweat, imo.

        was thinking dyer as more of just an emergency fill in rather than rotate, was going to transfer sess out in a couple weeks perhaps. i doubt evans and lindegaard will both pan out. that would be too, lucky. hopefully one will and i just drop the other. thanks

      I like it, I'd have Vorm rather than Lindegaard atm though. I'd have kompany rather than Richards and just bench him for a game, I'd also get rid of cahill, maybe for a stroe defender. Perfect forwards and midfield though - the exact i'm going to go for

      I like it a lot too apart from the GK, but there again I've gone for Richards, Enrique and Evans in defence with 2 rotating cheapies, so the value probably evens out. Good strike and mid, same as mine bar one.

    Does anyone have an email to complain to fpl? I'm going out of my cup match because some tosser has counted Hart as making 3 saves, even though Wigan only had 2 shots on target. Very frustrating.
