Roberto Mancini welcomes back Micah Richards and Mario Balotelli for City, while Ledley King could make a surprise return for opponents Tottenham. Chris Smalling and Phil Jones are back for United, though Mikel Arteta is ruled out for Arsenal ahead of Sunday’s showdown.

Wes Brown and Titus Bramble could return for Sunderland. David Moyes is without a host of first-team players. There’s better news for Mick McCarthy who welcomes back Roger Johnson, Kevin Foley, David Edwards and Matt Jarvis.

    WC Decisions: I have some ground to make up on those ahead of me so taking some chances. Torn between 3 sides;

    Option 1:
    Krul, Vorm
    Huth, Kompany, Bardsley, J Enrique, Kelly
    Sess, Dempsey, Walters, Silva, Barton
    RVP, Aguero, Fletcher
    1.8 left in the bank for upgrades later - banking on Man City recovering some of their goal scoring form over the next 6 GW's.

    Option 2:
    HART, Vorm
    Huth, Kompany, Bardsley, J Enrique, Kelly
    Sess, Dempsey, Walters, Silva, Dyer (or other 4.7 or less mid)
    RVP, Rooney, Fletcher
    0 left in bank, relying on Man City to keep getting clean sheets, also relying on Rooney to score despite awful run of fixtures - no money for changes down the road.

    Option 3:
    HART, Vorm
    Huth, Kompany, Bardsley, J Enrique, Kelly
    Sess, Dempsey, Walters, Silva, Barton
    RVP, Torres, Fletcher
    .9 in bank, Man City clean sheets, Taking a punt on Torres even though he derailed my season early on.

    First post on here, but would be grateful if u could RMWCT:

    Vorm /Sorensen

    Caulker/Senderos/Cahill/Simpson/Young

    Walters/Dempsey/Bale/Sessegnon*/Silva

    Bendter*/RVP/Crouch**

    This leaves me with £3.6m in bank, but plan is:

    * No FT in GW23 and then Moses/Aguero for Sess/Bendter in GW24
    ** Ba back in for Crouch when available/suitable/affordable

    Ok I've got 2 questions.
    1. Simpson or Senderos for the weekend. (kind of a toss up but thinking Sendoros because he's at home)
    2. I've got Stockdale and was gonna keep him for the next 2 games then switch to Krul but with Schwarzer coming back he may not play in the 2nd game. I'm currently on a wc so it would make sense to just to do it now but then I've got a similar problem of picking Krul or Vorm this week. So where's Schwarzer's fitness at, will he be back for the game on 1st Feb against WBA.

      As frustrating as he is, hes had a massively troubled life, his dad is in prison and things like that.He acts so stupidly but I find it hard to be angry at him. I think he'll stay at united in the end but it could all go really wrong, no one really knows his true circumstances though - think he feels really misunderstood and stuff, lots of people assuming things.

    Really struggling to decide what to do this week. Original plan was to leave the team alone for two weeks and then do BAE/ADEBAYOR to CAULKER/AGUERO for GW24 leaving Ade and Kompany on the bench this weekwith either BAE or Evans.
    But as Cabaye is also injured now should I make a transfer to avoid having three unplayable subs?

    Option A: Cabaye>Walters - no hit (downside is would not be able to afford BAE/ADE >CAULK/KUN in GW24)
    Option B: Cabaye/Ade>Dempsey/Anyone for 7.1 or less - 4pt hit (downside is lose Ade for Wig game and wouldn't play the sub striker for two weeks, would pick someone likely to gain value though)
    Option C: Cabaye/BAE>Dempsey/Kelly - 4pt hit (downside is doubling up on Fulham defence)
    Option D: Do nothing and ride out this wek with no subs with team for next week looking good.

    Current team:
    Krul/Mignolet
    Kompany, BAE, Enrique, Evans, Senderos
    Bale, Silva, Valencia, Sessegnon, Cabaye
    RVP, Ade, Studge

    Any help would be greatfully appreciated!

      I've been in the 100-130k area for a few weeks now, and I'm thinking about bringing Torres in for Ade and swap him out for Aguero next week hoping to propel myself forward a bit. This is my first year playing and it's starting to drag a bit, so I figure if I have a few bad weeks, maybe I'll just scrap it, so this seems like a good week to try to spice things up.

        Do it. Not even sure I would bring Aguero in. His head dropped a little in recent weeks. Not sure he is really up for it at the moment. He will get rested a little and Balo and Dzeko given a little more playing time

          Haha, I know, and I realize mathematically I'm doing quite well, in the top 4%, I just don't don't know whether to think that's doing well, or whether I might as well just be in the top 50% and therefore I need to really shoot for the differential and risk falling. I liken it to poker when you are keeping up but you know you need a big move to make it to the end. Also, I feel like my dedication to following Spurs has waned a little bit (rooting for RVP for instance, should make me feel ill) in favor of following the whole league.
