After a thrilling day of Premier League action yesterday, Super Sunday has a lot to live up to – and it just might. Four of the top five play each other, in what could prove be a monumental day in the 2011-12 season. Needless to say, the Dugout Discussion chatroom is open for business, so come is and share your thoughts on the day’s action as they unfold.

Man City XI: Hart, Richards, Savic, Lescott, Clichy, Milner, Barry, Silva, Nasri, Aguero, Dzeko.

Spurs XI: Friedel, Walker, Kaboul, King, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon, Parker, Modric, Bale, Van der Vaart, Defoe.

Once again Roberto Mancini cannot call upon the services of their suspended captain fantastic Vincent Kompany, but welcome Micah Richards back into the fold. Edin Dzeko continues up front with Sergio Aguero.

A huge boost for the visitors sees their captain and defensive rock, Ledley King, named amongst the starting eleven after missing the last five league games. Elsewhere, Jermain Defoe starts, replacing the ineligible Emmanuel Adebayor.

Once the dust has settled in Manchester, we turn our attention to the capital. Manchester United will be looking to capitalise on any dropped points from the earlier game, and Arsenal are seeking redemption from the humiliation at the hands of the Champions in the reverse fixture. In case your memory has failed you, it was 8-2.

    Really cant make my mind up which way I want these 2 matches to go. I've got RVP, Rooney and Silva to go.

    In my MLs, 2 have RVP (c) and1 has Rooney (c) (I've already bombed out with captain Gerrard and likewise one other rival with Mata). AND we've all got Silva.

      Got a delightful 7 points from 7 players yesterday but was pretty happy with an average score of 14. I only dropped 5.000 places. The points must be really skewed this week. But it is WC time!

        I think they are skewed, Reply Fail, by the regulars on this site who wisely brought Dempsey in this week. I wasnt one of them though, I hasten to add!

        I rose overall by 1000 places, but had a big red arrow in the FFS league. Just shows who got all the points 🙂

      Spurs need to show they can beat a big team today.

      I know they beat Liverpool and Arsenal at WHL earlier this season but they aren't the same teams of old.

      Minus 1 me all you want as I know most people are getting wet for them, blabbing on about them being their second team etc. I don't care what you think, my opinion is that their run since the 5-1 defeat in GW3 has been shit easy and this is their first big test of their credentials.
