After a thrilling day of Premier League action yesterday, Super Sunday has a lot to live up to – and it just might. Four of the top five play each other, in what could prove be a monumental day in the 2011-12 season. Needless to say, the Dugout Discussion chatroom is open for business, so come is and share your thoughts on the day’s action as they unfold.

It all starts at the Etihad Stadium, where league leaders Manchester City face a Tottenham Hotspur side eager to establish themselves as title contenders. The team news is in…

Man City XI: Hart, Richards, Savic, Lescott, Clichy, Milner, Barry, Silva, Nasri, Aguero, Dzeko.

Spurs XI: Friedel, Walker, Kaboul, King, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon, Parker, Modric, Bale, Van der Vaart, Defoe.

Once again Roberto Mancini cannot call upon the services of their suspended captain fantastic Vincent Kompany, but welcome Micah Richards back into the fold. Edin Dzeko continues up front with Sergio Aguero.

A huge boost for the visitors sees their captain and defensive rock, Ledley King, named amongst the starting eleven after missing the last five league games. Elsewhere, Jermain Defoe starts, replacing the ineligible Emmanuel Adebayor.

Once the dust has settled in Manchester, we turn our attention to the capital. Manchester United will be looking to capitalise on any dropped points from the earlier game, and Arsenal are seeking redemption from the humiliation at the hands of the Champions in the reverse fixture. In case your memory has failed you, it was 8-2.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom can be accessed right here.

I like Balotelli but I saw his stamp live and on replay and it was a clear red. He had two or three goes at kicking Parker while he was down and got him once at least.

Just thought I'd say, went to the Reebok last night and watched Bolton v Liverpool.
Liverpool are the worst team ive seen there this season, absolutely awful.

If you have Gerrard get rid, he plays very deep and will only get points for penalties.

I actually think Balotelli wasn't aware of Parker until his first leg hit Parker's head. After that he looks noticeably thrown off balance, we can't say his leg would have moved the other way because it was an instant reaction to it. I honestly don't think it was malicious.

There was 2 parts to Balotelli's incident on Parker, the first part i think was accidental but the 2nd part looked like a stamp which Balo meant imo, his foot would not have been so far back unless he meant to stamp on him.
