Ok I have Sess, Dempsey, Bale, Silva and RVP in my squad but i'm so unhappy with my points.
This is due to the fact I kept Bale on bench and handed the armband to Roo.
My main Rival started Bale, capt RVP, also had Sess and Lescott and Welbeck. NO Dempsey and he still pulled away a few points

thats the perfect example of too strong a midfield, you will have to accept benching one of them every week, obviously when stoke r away it will be walters, but you will be faced with this on many occasions. not the worst problem to have is it?

He was at RB when he got the assist, so it's not a total disaster.
with the way he played today i don't think fergie will want to change where he's playing too much..

Looking at the teams posted here every now and then, every team has same midfield. I believe after everyone played the wildcard, all of us will have very similar looking teams.

I did comment on that Corrigan, and it's an interesting idea. I'm actually considering an RvP, Welbeck and Bent strikeforce. Bent is coming back into form and has some nice fixtures until right around the time Ba is back
Its so much easier to find decent rotating strikers than mids. The expensive mids are firing on all cylinders whilst the big guns are just damp squids.
I have to say I really think it will work in the long term.
Aguero got most of his points early in the season I believe, and with Dzeko and Balotelli doing their best to ruin his returns, I jsut dont see him as a viable option.
Rooney spent all of today diving around and not playing football. Welbeck could be a really good shout and your right about Bent.
a Welbeck, RvP and Bent strikeforce could be stunning. Welbeck looks like he's first choice now, and how can he be left out when he's playing so well, and he seems unfazed no matter who he plays against.
Go with it, need some more interesting teams round here, and that strikeforce definitely has legs on it.

There is Aguero in GWs 26 and 27 though where no one else looks viable.
plus no Aguero means you can have Silva and 2 from Bad K, Richards and Hart.

Good to see someone on the same wavelength. 13 settled players may allow for one week punts on strikers so Welbeck may not be a bad shout short term. Sadly, I think Chico will impact on his gametime eventually. But then Ba's back!

Bent is a great shout but Keane and Agbonlahor look much better value alternatives
it's true, but for now Keane is only there short-term and Bent is still is still the main man, and is on pens.
The cream always rises to the top, in this case I reckon bent is the cream.
and if Welbeck's game time does drop, there is Zamora for the same price, Morison, Fletcher, Helguson and even Agbonlahor to look at. I will not get Dempsey when I wc though I don't think. I don't fancy him at Eastlands that week. May swap him for Bale the week after.

Well not fixtures but they are proven to be able to score (or not ;)) vs anyone.
Such is the way with FPL, you have to keep playing the fixtures otherwise you'll just be chasing last week's points every week.
Yeah it's mainly fixtures and Silva's a good asset either way. Nani's gone off the boil and I've swapped Rooney in thinking he'd score a couple at least and he's gone deep again.
Frankly I'm fed up with it so I've gone Silva and Aguero and hope that the next 6 weeks fixtures will see me right.
Anyone reckon Evans can rise 0.1 this week given him starting and his next fixture? Or optimistic?
