Managers the length and breath of the country are frantically trying to free up funds and strike some last-minute deals to improve their squads. It’s also Deadline Day in the Premier League, so tread extra carefully as the 7.30pm Gameweek 23 Fantasy Premier League deadline approaches.

The Matchday Surgery chatroom is open, so venture in and ask your fellow fantasy managers for help and advice.

        Of course they change but they change based on risk so rarely happens in football due to the odds and volume.

    I've heard a couple of people say that Lindegaard is out for "3-4 weeks". Could anyone give me a source for that? I'm on Wildcard and need to work out whether to keep him.

      Sounds like speculation to be honest.

      I'd be interested to know as I've got him and Mignolet with the plan of playing Lindy every week then Mignolet to come in when Lindy doesn't play, so it doesn't change much for me.

    HELP please. I've never had this much trouble selecting a captain. Valencia, Bale, RVP or Dempsey? Armband presently with Dempsey, but was on RVP earlier today.

        Re Bale - he's got a slight niggle, so concerned he might not play full match. Also with Defoe out the picture I suspect VdV will have more of the ball in midfield than Bale. That said, their home record plus Wigan's away record is incredible...... which leads on to RVP. Arsenal's away goals plus Bolton's home conceding makes it one of tonight's better prospects.

        I just have this thing with Dempsey. He's highly in form at present when you consider all competitions, and his home against a fairly week team. Craven Cottage tend to offer lots of goals on cold Winter evenings, but.... could be a dud.

      RVP (Bale VC) is the sensible choice and one that most will go for.

      Valencia and Dempsey are far too inconsistent/overrated to be captain when you have RVP or Bale vs Wigan.
