sigh. fantasy plays havoc with your loyalties. i had sigurdsson as first sub for this GW, but everyone played... so I was left in the unfortunate postion, as a Spurs fan, of hoping Bale would be left out.

without Redknapp on the bench, the Spurs mgmt made the right calls... pack the midfield, tell them to try and keep the ball, hope to snatch one with Bale on the counter.

tosey's right though. without the Lennon+Bale double threat Spurs struggle. and when Lennon does play they tend to be more open and concede more.

seems that way. Everytime i put an armband to anyone else other than rvp. Rvp bagged a hat trick. The next week i decided to captain him. He scored none. yeah im used to it.

Well, my plans to get Clichy are blown out of the water. Not nailed on at all.

Once Kolo returns only Kompany and to a slightly lesser extent Richards are nailed on.

I'm a big fan of the RVP Kun Ba combination. Don't think you should get rid of Aguero, but I suppose if you are supplementing with Silva then thats ok.

Might be worth another roll of the dice on Walters, I'm giving it one more go. Any way you can shoe horn Ba in for Zamora?

We doing have some poor fixtures in the next few but after that they ease up nicely. We can still keep clean sheets despite everyone saying after the Bolton game that we wouldn't.

Nice point, the return of A Young. I wasn't thinking of that at all. Enrique is injured, has bad fixtures and no game at all at gw 26. Too many cons for 6.0 defender I think.

Ba is perhaps worth making the big changes to afford over Studge or Bobby Z.

I'm going to take a punt on Cahill playing. I'm by no means sure he'll play but think that it's worth the risk when they have such nice fixtures coming up. All the rest of my DF are nailed on starters so I'll just have to lean on my bench players if he doesnt play

Hard choice between Ba Sess and Valencia. If united are gonna do something against Liverpool Valencia will likely be involved so it's between the other 2. I think Spurs looked defensively better than Arsenal so Sess slightly more likely to score than Ba, though I dont expect either of them will. So Ba for the bench IMO.

Midfield doesn't rotate at all, but I guess a lot of others face the same problem since Sess and Siggy burst onto the scene.

From what I heard, Cisse is the finisher, and that is all he purely is. Ba will provide flick-ons, but will probably take penalties as well.

Yes Cisse plays further forward and scores more than Ba

I don't have the stats, but I don't think that they have played up front together that much for the national team. Senegal have a shed load of strikers.
