Apologies for the short post – my recent arrival has, understandably I hope, left me stretched for time to procrastinate. Besides, all there really is to say is that our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open to cover today’s games.

      It looked 50/50, but it would have been incredibly harsh because there's no way Rio could have avoided contact with Suarez, if that's what happened.

    Looks like little Luis is letting the crowd get under his skin a little bit.

    Should have been booked for kicking the ball away there. Gary Neville was sent off for kicking the ball at a fan at Goodison Park a few years ago....

    About the tackle there:

    Rio hit the ball, but it was a poor tackle - to me it looked like it was a way too soft a touch, and Suarez was through on De Gea

    then Rio's momentum took Suarez down (although the Uruguayan helped)

    i think it was a free kick to be fair

      I'm inclined to agree, but then Spearing won a free kick 3 minutes before when it was no way a free kick (though obviously a totally different area of the pitch).
