With the gameweek now complete after City’s narrow win at Villa and West Brom’s hammering of Wolves, it’s time for our Sunday evening regular. Site Members can now soak up a selection of key stats from the Opta data and, as always, we throw in our take on how the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) bonus points may pan out…
f*ck me, ivory should have won it there
Open ControlsHmmm 4 point hit for the roonpig, if I wait he could become to expensive?
Open ControlsSturridge, but would have to replace Valencia with tiote. Was planning to wildcard in a couple of weeks, otherwise I can do Sturridge to balotelli for two weeks but Rooney will be that much more expensive by then.
Open Controls
what's the chat on Poggy? was it a good goal~?
Open ControlsYes it was. Looked a bit rusty but think he will be a good target man for them
Open Controls
Loving the Aguero bashers on here tonight, not to mention the 2000 players who've, according to FISO, transferred him out already tonight.
Open ControlsHaha really? Wow. Do people even look at fixtures? Aguero didn't get a whole lot of service tonight to be fair to him.
Open ControlsHe has been quite frustrating as of late bar last week.
Open Controls
Well he's done very little for you since GW 22
Open ControlsI fully intend to ship him out in a few GWs, but it makes no sense to me to keep him this long only to get rid when he has amazing fixtures.
Open Controlsexactly, recent homescores: 11, 2, 8, 13. Expect 1 or 2 double figures in 2 coming GWs. Too bad I don't have him =(
Open Controls
The problem with retaining him is Rooney; come GW28 when I expect lots of FFS-esque players would be planning to swap, Roonpig could be £12.5m. I'm sticking with Aguero unless he, RVP or Ba comes a cropper in the next fortnight.

Remember this in the pub, Peep Show, Series 2?
Jeff Heaney: So basically, Man is programed to do two things - kill and nob. In the Stone Age, you'd get up, kill an antelope...
Jeremy Usborne: And nob the corpse.
Jeff Heaney: No, Jez.Open Controlsmy favourite quote from peep show is probably this:
Jeremy Usborne: [Discussing Mark's job] I mean, I'm no NHS Direct but this stress can't be doing your sex life any good. Tell Gail she's exploiting you.
Mark Corrigan: But then she'll fire me! I don't want to be unemployed, I've got a girlfriend to impress, and then when Sophie gets back from Wales, I've also got a baby to impress.
Jeremy Usborne: Christ Mark, you really need to grow a pair.
Mark Corrigan: Of testicles?
Jeremy Usborne: Yes.
Mark Corrigan: You want me to grow a pair of testicles so I'd have four testicles and somehow that'll help make me braver and better to deal with stress? Staggering around like a baboon with four balls hanging down?
Jeremy Usborne: Look, Gail's f^cking you over because you're so bloody passive. You need to rip her a new one.
Mark Corrigan: A new anus? So she'd have two anuses? And then in this mad new world of yours, I'd presumably shove my four bollocks up her two anuses for some unknown reason.Open ControlsNot familiar with this show - funny stuff
Open Controlsthat's awesome. I love Peep Show more than my right arm.
I'm working my way through the boxset again for a treat.
Series 4 of the greatest comedy ever made coming up.Open Controls+1. hadnt thought about it before he said it like that: 4 bollox and 2 anuses.

Best forward for under 5.5mil??
Thinking danny graham but thinking of a punt on stracalquic from evertonOpen ControlsAguero out for Rooney or is that just a silly move? Have silva and Richards and no united cover.
Open ControlsMight look at that, silva has been low scoring for quite a while now.
Open Controls
Yes it's silly. City have 2 of the league's easiest matches in their next 2 fixtures.
Open ControlsShould I hang to nasri in that case ?
Considering mata or ValenciaOpen Controls
Does this Tevez to return chat have any substance? That's be a bummer holding onto Kun for these fixtures for him to be promptly getting splinters in his ar$e from the bench...
Open Controls
Best defensive option from this lot. Santon, Olsson, Rangel, Naylor, Caulker & Turner?
Open ControlsMy lowest score of the season 20!!! It's been a car crash since gw20!
Anybody care to tell me what happened to Richards today?Open ControlsMignolet
Richards Caulker Evans J
Sigurdsson Sessegnon Dempsey Bale Silva
Ba Van Persie
Hilario Jelavic Taiwo Senderos
HELP - 0.8 in the bank and 100 points behind the league leader, Can't afford Aguero........Yes the subs bench is amazing.Open ControlsGW30 onwards I think I'm going to get Baines back. Unless the DGW comes before then that is.
Is an absoloute beast when Everton hit their standard end of season good run.Open ControlsLooked fantastic but his fantasy pedigree isn't great. Never been prolific in either goals or assists which is a bit of a concern.
Open Controls
That was when Cahill remembered how to head the ball
Open ControlsWhats Jellyfish like the in the air?
3 scores of 7-5-6 on the trot including City and Chelsea.Open Controls
His price makes him a luxury, though. That price...
Could be good, though. Everton fans were singing his and Pienaar's praises last night on the radio. Great link up play and Baines has a new lease of life, apparently.Open ControlsBaines always looks more comfortable to me when players who like to cut in e.g., Pienaar, Osman, Arteta are on the left. It allows him more space to get forward. This season Drenthe and Bilyaletinov have played there a lot and they like to get to the byline more taking the space away form him.

Best keeper from these 3 in GW26?
Sorensen (h) to Swansea
Schwarzer @ QPR
Mignolet @ WBAOpen Controlsrooney or aguero if you had to bring in one,
aguero for 2 weeks then rooney??????Open ControlsMaybe but I suspect Rooney is at the start of a good run. I think they will do equally well over the next two fixtures then with United's good run from GW28 Rooney will do better.
Open Controlstempted to go large up frontwith RVP Rooney Kun
Open ControlsWas going to bring in Ba or Papiss for gerbil this gw to complement RVP and Kun upfront, but i have enough to get Rooney.
So, is Rooney worth a shout or should i stick witj Ba/Papiss?Open Controls
I went from my best week this season to my worst, gotta love this game.
Open ControlsBonus points:
Dempsey = 2
Valencia = 2
Lescott = 3
McLean = 1
Does anyone disagree with these???Open ControlsAny baps for Riise? would be nice. He's due.
Open ControlsWhere do I need to make changes to my team? Had a horrendous game week.
Sorensen mignolet
Richards caulker Enrique santon senderos
Bale silva Dempsey Sess siggy
RVP aguero ba
2.3mil in the bankOpen ControlsIs Valencia a nailed starter for the next few weeks? Contemplating bringing him in for Bale for a few weeks........
CheersOpen ControlsYes he is but i wouldn't get him in for Bale
Open Controls
Who should I play nx gameweek from these two?
A-Dempsey v qpr away
B-keane v Wigan away
ThanksOpen ControlsReal are running away with the league, I thought Barca would be unstoppable with Cesc and Sanchez but they might have disrupted their system.
Open Controls2FT
Valencia > Surman
Dzeko > Rooney
$0 left in the bank
Logic is that I have Evans and Linde who I'm not keen to sell which means I have to sell Valencia in order to get Rooney. With Nani coming back Valencia might get shifted to RB so perhaps its not a bad decision. Also I won't get Aguero because it would mean I can't afford Rooney in two gameweeks due to Rooney's price rises. Good moves?Open ControlsHow long is Linde out for.... I know it's Fergie, but wasn't it a good six weeks or am I imagining that? I get your point reg Rooney's price, I suspect by GW28 he could be up to £12.5m but Valencia was racking up the points even at full back. I traded him out knee jerk for Siggy on Sat AM and regret it now. Dzeko will certainly be at risk from Balo, and potentially Tevez? He's worth losing certainly and if that's the way to raise funds... presume you can't generate the funds from Sess - McClean?
That said, they're pretty good transfers... brave on the Sun of a fortnight premier league break though. Go for it!Open ControlsYour grav is like an angry, pissed off version of mine. Rooney does look like the player to have til the end of the season, but maybe from gw28.
Open Controls
Villa have won away at Wigan 2-1 in last 2 seasons corresponding fixtures and Nzogbia could go back and haunt them
Open ControlsBent for the next 4 games, wig bla FUL BOL
Huge differential and I expect he'll get at least 3 goals out of those fixtures with Keane goneOpen ControlsStill not prepared to drop any of RVP, Ba or Aguero to get him in... and if I did, Rooney and Ade/Saha given their fixtures from 28 onwards would be higher up my list. Form and fixtures rather than simply the latter... we've seen all season with Torres/Bendtner/Suarez that good fixtures do not always equal a good return, especially when AV are so poor at the minute.
Open ControlsDisagree, when Keane goes he takes Bents main supply line with him. Ireland will revert back to the Keane role and the goals will dry up
Open Controls
When do the rankings update themselves?
Open Controlsteams with best chance of keepin a cs next week?
Open ControlsWat transfers should i make?
Krul (Vorm)

Open Controls9th hattrick of the last calender year 😆

The City Question. It returns.
I could go without City cover for the next two gameweeks. It appears ludicrous, but...
Prospects:
Aguero - price isn't rocketing like Rooney's, 1 goal from open play in his last 8, pens gone with Balo return. Rooney has 1 great fixture, Aguero: 2, though.
Silva - another brilliant real-life player, but a more attacking Modric. I just cannot work out his fantasy pedigree.
Yaya - a mysterious option. A tired, weary returning holding mid or a buzzing box to box midfielder ready for some fantasy action?
I'm at a loss. I may pray they do nothing for a couple of weeks and then I'm in the clear.Open Controls
