i think he needs de jong to be playing as well so he can get forward and score well. but de jong doesn't seem to be overly in favour so i reckon yaya could be stuck minding the house.
It's YaYa's ability to get forward from the holding role that makes him so valuable. This is the time of year where his power makes a difference. Earlier in the season that isn't necessarily the case
still think he'll always be the least attacking midfielder on their team, most of the time. if i was manager, i'd have someone else doing the holding role. yaya will make things happen if he can get forward. was de jong on pitch when yaya set up aguero yesterday?

Liverpool v Brighton tomorrow. I am sadly old enough to remember two consecutive FA Cup exits at the hands of Brighton in 83 and 84...the all conquering Liverpool just couldn't do FA Cup wins in those days.

Looking at your team, GK seems the most pressing issue. Not keen on relying on Supervorm I take it? I'd ceratinly be investing funds there.
If you can't afford Krul, consider Al Habsi - good for save points, nailed on and rotates pretty, pretty, well with Vorm. Also allows you to get Santon / Raylor later. I think Krul is now slightly overpriced when Simpson is still 4.5 and Raylor is OOP.

Rafel, Evans, Rio, Evra/ Possible Jones or Smalling may replace Rafa, but I'd avoid any United defenders bar Evans and Evra.

Fergie mentioned Smalling will definitely play in the game against Ajax on Thursday which places question marks over his starting place next weekend.

less so IMO, but injury prone. He gets forward a lot and could get attacking points, but he could just as easily pull a hamstring. The Da Silvas appear to made of glass.

Yes. Maybe in FPL 2013-14 he will be nailed on RB imo. Evans is safest bet for Utd defence apart from De Gea and Evra. I hope De Gea will be number 1 now for rest of season.
IMO keep evans and get someone else from another team. That RB slot should see so much rotation over other defensive positions for rest of season.

Group A
Tottenham (Megatron X – Rank: 33,948)
A kind draw for the only member of group A inside the top 150k on FPL and with a staggering 120th place finish in last season’s game, he is definitely the early favourite for leader of this group.
Key differential = Mr. X has placed his faith in Edin Dzeko to deliver the goods during City’s current fixture list but with 3.6m in the bank and no transfers used an upgrade could well be on the cards here. Instead, watch out for BAE and Taye Taiwo; QPR are still in the midst of some decent fixtures and he may be looking for both attacking and defensive returns from the AC Milan fullback.
Rubin Kazan (Ryan – Rank: 161,893)
This manager has been hanging around the top 200k since GW2 but has struggled to find the required penetration to break into and stay inside the top 100k. A trio of top 50k finishes in his history is extremely respectable so any game with this seasoned veteran is sure to be tough.
Key differential = With two free transfers already used for the coming gameweek, it’s very possible Dzeko and Valencia were shown the exit door. These could have been key differentials in the group but if I am right in predicting they have gone the answer may well lie with who he brought in.
PAOK (BonZ – Rank: 358,621)
Don’t let his rank mislead you. Bonz has had some decent top 100k finishes in his history and with his circa 5k finish, in the season before last, particularly eye catching. Undoubtedly he is having his worst season this year and has struggled to make headway after a slow start. Bonz more than anyone has something to prove in this group.
Key differential = DIE ADEBAYOR DIE. Bonz is the only member of the group who was the benefactor of Manu’s huge haul in GW25. His hopes will lie with the big Togolese hitman grabbing more points against Arsenal and Man Utd in his next two games. It’s also notable he is the only group member with no striker coverage for City but with 2.0m and a free in the bank, this may be remedied.
Shamrock (chazza – Rank: 651,732)
Quite literally the rank outsider of the group. It’s clear this manager doesn’t mind taking risks considering he has taken 3 x 12pt hits, 5 x 8pt hits, 1 x 4pt hit and a mammoth 16pt hit in GW11. With no previous history in the game (that we know of) and his aforementioned penchant for taking a hit, this is a real unknown quantity we are dealing with here.
Key differential = It’s clear that chazza’s hopes of glory rest on whether or not the Yak is well fed over his coming fixtures.
