Rafael Van der Vaart looks set to return to the Spurs starting lineup, after Harry Redknapp confirmed that he has trained all week ahead of the derby showdown with Arsenal.

Emmanuel Adebayor and Benoît Assou-Ekotto should also shake off respective problems, whilst Luka Modric looks likely to recover from the flu. Their counterparts could well have a reinforced backline with Laurent Koscielny and Kieran Gibbs potentially recovering; a decision will be made on the pair tomorrow.

Ryan Taylor has recovered from an ankle injury for Newcastle as they take on Wolves – whose leading scorer Steven Fletcher is a doubt with a virus. Elsewhere, Junior Hoilett is fit for Blackburn, whilst reports suggest that Tom Cleverely may have suffered an ankle injury during Manchester United’s game with Ajax.

      I have 11 of your players. I'm keeping Valencia as he should be back for the West Brom game. Seems a shame to not use a transfer though. Could be a good time to take a 1 week punt on someone like Mata in for Dempsey.

          Van Der Vaart or Walcott maybe. Walters is another option as he looks like he might be back up front this weekend. Zamora>Odemwingie could be another option.

        Why do I have such crap keepers!

        Friedel for me for the run in. Bargain at 5.7M and happy to start almost every game, cant understand why more people arent considering him.

            Plus tt's much easier finding rotating defenders with a 3:5 ratio rather than 1:2.

            Looking again, its only the Chelsea game I'd even consider rotating him for, and they arent exactly prolific at the moment.

            Friedel/Bogdan anyone??

    Victor Chandler are doing an offer where, if your winning 1st goalscorer scores 2 or more goals in the match, then they'll pay out at double the odds. £5 on both Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse to score 1st (both at just over 3/1) looks a good bet, especially considering as either striker could score a couple against Wolves.

    Was happy to bench Enrique in anticipation of a DGW but the case to get rid is growing. He currently has two confirmed games in the next four gameweeks and they are not games where I’d play him.

    Time to get rid? If so, for whom? Cahill perhaps?

    Do i start Vermaelen and save transfer or do Vermaelen to R.Taylor with my free transfer? will be gettin rid of verm next week anyway.. however raylor may not be a starter and waitin one more week i'll be in a better position to decide and do Verm to Raylor next week(esp with gw 29 in mind and santon/will bein safer options)

    need help

    consensus says save transfer, bench valencia, play Mcclean

    Valencia not playing this week and spurs away next week

    mata has bolton at home and wba away

    can sell valencia for 8.1 and he will be 8.1 tomorrow anyway.

    once valencia is fit.. there will be uncertainty over which 2 will start on the wings

    just some thoughts in favor of mata.. agree or disagree?
