The first of Gameweek 29’s postponed fixtures due to FA Cup involvement has now been rescheduled and, as expected, it’s dropped into a midweek slot on March 20.

Aston Villa have confirmed that their clash with Bolton, formerly set for Sunday March 17, has moved to Tuesday March 20. Although unconfirmed, this should see the fixture remain in the Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 29.

We now await confirmation of the rescheduling of the remaining fixtures postponed due to FA Cup ties. These include:

Everton vs Arsenal
Blackburn vs Sunderland
Stoke vs Tottenham
QPR vs Liverpool

The Man City vs Chelsea clash, currently scheduled for Monday March 19, is also in doubt, should Chelsea see off Birmingham in their FA Cup replay on March 6.

Tonight’s confirmation from Villa is surely a positive sign that would indicate that all these games will, once again, return to Gameweek 29. We will bring you confirmation, with out season tickers updated once the FPL update the Gameweek.

    Aaahh Warnock, the man that I brought in on my winter Wildcard, and proceeded to get dropped, conceding two goals against Swansea's toothless attack on the road, scored a beauty of an own goal when he was subbed into my side, and then returned to the side and got a clean sheet the week I transferred him out for Bardsley, who has gone on to score me 0 points and an injury on his debut in my side.
    
    Bitter to say the least.

Definitely looking at getting this Pog fella in. Fulham's home fixtures are decent, and I just feel that Dempsey ties up too much cash. Also, he'd make a perfect rotation pairing with McClean for the remainder of the season.

I'm much more convinced by Ade's form, especially alongside Saha. Apart from his brace against Liverpool, Rooney only has 2 penalties and those dodgy assists to show for in months!

I seriously doubt any of the bottom 5 get over 35 points this season. I reckon the team that finishes bottom will probably fail to get out of the 20's. Villa have enough points to be safe this season already.

I'm afraid I think it's Wigan, Bolton and QPR for the drop. Much though it pains me to say it as a hoops fan.

  I like it, although, as I've posted above I think Adebayor could be the Spurs player of choice for the run-in, given how his and Bale's fortunes have changed with Saha in the line-up. Depends if he stays there though.
  
  A possible alternative would be to downgrade BAE, swap Rooney out for Ade and upgrade Yaya/Valencia/Bale to Silva/Nani
  
  I like Skrtel, Morrison and Pog/Cisse though

    Yeah Ade leading the line for Spurs in such good fixtures is difficult to ignore. Bale & Ade is probably a bit much with so many striker options I guess.

  - Friedel is cheaper
  - Happy to start every game (maybe bar Chelsea)

  Coming from a Norwegian, Hangeland has traditionally been criticized for his lack of goals. Last season was a bit of a one-off, although he has improved that part of his game. Not really worth the price difference from me though

      Yes, that's pretty much how it is. I can easily understand Swedish and Danish. Norwegian is kinda "in between" the other two so it's very easy for us, a little bit harder for Swedes and Danes to understand each other perhaps. Written it is no problem whatsoever.

        Yeah there is. We are good friends most of the time and look out for each other, but there's always plenty of banter when it comes to sports especially football and in skiing which is big up here. It's all in a friendly way though and a lot of people root for the neighbors if their home team is eliminated in the WC for example

        Yeah thought it was more like that. Sounds the best way to be. Always enjoyed watching the Scandinavian sides at Euro's & World Cups. So many great tournaments amongst them.
        
        Denmark used to be incredible in the 80's & 90's.
        
        Being a Celtic fan Henrik is my hero. And the Brolin/Dalin partnership at USA 94 was class.
        
        And I remember you guys at France 98 under Egil Olsen getting to the last 16 against Italy. Damn you Vieri.
        
        None of the sides are standing out just now though are they. Need a bit of luck aswell to have a group of top players at one given time.

        Denmark was great back then yes, although I never got to see them. Sweden in 94 was epic as well. In 98 we had a great team, Egil Olsen was often criticized by others for boring football but he had amazing results. We were ranked 2nd only to Brazil in the fifa rankings which was never wrong tbf, but it shows how many big teams we beat. He's actually back at the manager's seat atm and we have drawn a good group being one of the top seeds in Europe at the drawings unbelievably enough. I still hate Vieri for that goal! 😉
        
        Denmark have a good team atm, they finished above Portugal in the qualification group, Norway came third behind them. They came in the group of death though and really need to outdo themselves to go through!

  Kelly currently an injury doubt, apparently picked a a knock, so he misses the internationals, hopefully he'll be back by the wolves game.

    i am a north welsh person originally and my dad (a manc lived in wales for 40 odd yr)
    
    after the CCup - i called him to say even though it was cardiff - i would have claimed a win for the welsh (nrth and south wales dont really get on) my father said

        Triestina were founded in 1918 and took part in the first Serie A championship, remaining in the top flight for over two decades. A word of warning for those looking at Pogrebnyak: he's never been that prolific. 1 goal in 3.4 games has been his ratio in the last 5 years. But those home fixtures are tempting, and he's undoubtedly looking great at the moment.

One quick question for my WC team: I have one last defender slot (covering MCI, MUN, LIV, TOT, NEW, SUN so far ...) - Kelly or Caulker for the last one?

I was thinking of getting rid of Verm even before he picked up his injury, is it worth taking a hit to get him out? Or wait and see which of he and Agger make it to the weekend without yellow/red flags? I have enough in the bank to afford any defender.

  Yep, I was facing 3 yellow flags and a red flag (D Cisse) today, along with Senderos who didn't get on for Fulham, and while I didn't see the game or highlights, I noticed his replacement Hughes got 2 Bonus and they picked up a clean sheet without him, raising my doubts over his starting role. Also, Agger has a suspected broken rib, so I went Cisse > Pog to quench my thirst for transfers today.

    Olsson could be an excellent shout at 4.5 in my opinion. I had him earlier in the season and it didn't go well for me but if they start keeping clean sheets and keep scoring this freely, he's the most likely defender to get goals/assists and I think he could be well worth a punt
