With the midweek International fixtures seen by most as merely a distraction, and a painful one at that when it comes to injuries, we’re back to business today and the Matchday Surgery is here to usher you through yet another Saturday morning frenzy…

At Fantasy Football Scout we aim to arm you with as much relevant, up-to-date information as we possibly can. Facts, conjecture, and opinion all feature to give you the best basis for making your pivotal selection dilemmas.

The Team News page is your one-stop shop for all the latest team news (obviously). We’ve added our predicted line-ups for all 20 Premier League sides this weekend, along with some dialogue giving you an insight into our reasoning. The Injuries & Bans table gives you – if you have time (tick-tock) – a more detailed look at those players either missing out this week or uncertain of a game due to injury.

More pertinent perhaps, is looking at those players who are likely to play and, more importantly, can deliver the fantasy goods. The Scout Picks are our best pick of the bunch. There you have 14 players we are confident can produce decent returns this week. If you’re needing to look outside-the-box, then Spot the Differential targets individuals who aren’t as obvious a choice for selection, but who we feel could well turn a few heads this week.

You have the Captain’s Poll which can be viewed on the home page, down the central column, to aid your armband decision. We’ve even analysed the key referee appointments and examined what that could mean for the Fantasy assets on show. It’s over to you now.

The Matchday Surgery chatroom will be open right through the deadline, before making way to the Dugout Discussion, and can be accessed right here.

Akers Richard or Akers, as he is known, has been regularly haunting this site since July 2008. He is young and foolish, take what he says with a pinch of salt. Follow them on Twitter

    Advise needed badly:

    Kenny
    Richards evans kelly
    bale silva dempsey moses
    rvp rooney sturridge

    bench: Given santon mclean caulker

    1) Not sure which keeper to start, kenny or given?
    2) I think Kelly wont start so who has a better chance for a clean sheet, santon or caulker?
    3) who should i make captain
    4) I havnt used my FT for this week, does that seem like a right decision?

Does anyone think Michael Dawson has a chance of starting? I don't really want him in my team but looking at Spurs' defence there are quite a few orange squares there.

    Folks,

2 transfer this gw. 0.0 in bank.

Cannot see any obvious transfers so I think I'm not going to make transfers this week also

    It feels sooooo wrong though...

    Any thoughts appreciated....

    ———— Vorm ——————-

    Huth —- Kompany —- R Taylor —- Shotton

    ----- Dempsey (V) — Bale — Silva –

    — Graham — Aguero (C) — RVP —-

Hardly urgent but, since you have the extra transfer, Vorm and Mignolet don't rotate that well - You could perhaps swap Vorm for Schwarzer or Given (er, maybe) who provide better rotation. Schwarzer especially has good fixtures...

Keep Valencia now or get rid of him? If so, for who?

Question. I have one free transfer:

Do I do the long term transfer of Walters to Ferguson (to never play and free up money) today or wait until next week and take a four point hit as definitely doing Aguero to Rooney next week!?

Thing is I've toyed with losing Walters for so long now and decided to be patient until after this GW as last two fixtures have been tasty!! He had a few chances last week but managed to mess them up.

Sod it, made a decision and got Miyaichi in (long term plan) for Walters as I can just play McClean instead of Walters for this week.

lo folks, could someone rate my team for this week - nervously defending a mini league!

    Vorm / (Krul)
    Kompany / Simpson / Shawcross (BAE 1st sub / Rangel 3rd sub)
Sigurdsson / Silva / Sessegnon / Dempsey (Vc) (Bale 2nd sub)
    Aguero (C), Ba, RVP

    What do u think?

    thanks guys

Any advice on GK and Def:

    Krul / Mig
    Lescott / Kelly / Simpson / BAE / JEvans

Was thinking Krul, Lescott, Kelly and Simpson - but double Newcastle defence is probably a bad idea right?

    On my watchlist:

Balottelli, Skrtl, Morisson, Rooney, Saha, McAuley, Shotton. Nani

    On the way out:

    Dzeko, Richards, Valencia, Dempsey, Taiwo

the immanent big moves revolve around Valencia, Dzeko & Richards.

Anyone wish they had another wild card?
