Sunday brings us three Premier League matches, with events kicking off at midday with the Tyne-Wear derby clash and culminating with the titanic clash at White Hart Lane. Our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open and will be around to soak your reactions as the day progresses.

The team news from the Sports Direct Arena brings us no surprises in the Newcastle lineup with Papiss Cisse shaking off a groin problem to partner Demba Ba up front. Martin O’Neill has given us food for thought, however, drafting in Nicklas Bendtner in attack, presumably shifting Stephane Sessegnon to a support role. Jack Colbak makes way, while Phil Bardsley recovers form a calf problem to take his place in the back four.

Enjoy the game, and the Fulham vs Wolves and Tottenham vs Man United clashes later today and pop into to the Dugout Discussion for some real-time Fantasy Football bantering.

    When introduced by fickle friend to football fact-y fun,
    with fervour in this game of guile, my journey had begun...
    It started off in earnest,- a newbie through and through,
    I worked my way through each mistake, one simply shouldn't do.
    I transferred here, I tinkered there, a 4 point hit was nothing.
    With wild-card wasted two weeks in, I took a hefty stuffing.
    Determined then, to conquer those, who had laughed in my face,
    I set about my strategy, to put them in their place.
    A season new, a slate awash, with opportunities,
    a burning sense of in-just-ice, had left me ill-at-ease.
    The competition drew me in, my newest choice of sports
    it lingered with me day by day, like potent penile warts.

    My season started slowly sifting, weeds from sultry roses,
    I suffered due to misplaced faith, in Wigan's Victor Moses,
    I dabbled in a dalliance with Kun and Scouser's gem,
    I made the most of both of those, but soon discarded them.
    And tables then began to turn, -much better late than never,
    with helping hand from Silva and, the double Dutch endeavour.
    Now halfway through the season I, look proudly down my league,
    It's close but I am confident, - I smell my foes fatigue,
    They're hot in chase, and aim to dent, my ample footie clout,
    but do not know it's thanks in part, -to vital 'Footie Scout'.

          I must have a thing against people that writes this sort of poetry. I can't help it... it's like people having a phobia of clowns. I just think it comes across as quite smug and pompous, like "look at me, I can make words rhyme", when really it's not too difficult at all is it?

          Don't worry, nothing personal... just my view of it. No offence meant.

    Anyone else think you should be able to borrow money against future player price rises and if you don't have the cash back in the bank by a certain date they can just break a random one of your player's legs every week (making him ineligible and untransferable) until you get the money back

    I for one would welcome this development, despite the risk and the extra liquidity it would bring

        wow, see my post on the previous page. 6 points for me so far! I do have Caulker coming off the bench and Rooney(c) but still, not great, for a week that promised so much.

        Try not to knee jerk, move onto the next fixtures and ride with the ups and downs.

    I love watching Dembele play. Always so composed in possession and quick on the turn. Pity he's an awful fantasy option. Riise looking a real threat too.

    So on top of Richards, Silva and Aguero not playing and Aguero being my captain yesterday, today I have a total score of 1 from Ba, McClean and Simpson and Kelly injured leaving me with 10 players playing!

    Even after all this I'm going to be on 44 before BPs without taking into account any points Dempsey or Bale may get..

    Easy to see the negatives each week, but I gotta be thankful that Aguero/Silva not playing got me +10 more from Van Persie (C) and +9 from Caulker before BPs.
