    In a sense, Manamongst is right. You can get pot-committed in FPL. In this case, Richards' price has gone up, he's likely to score points when he plays and there is a high possibility that he'll play next week.

    And as in poker...there's no such thing as a season-keeper. No way I'll probably keep him all season...he's just been that lucky guy (other than the subbing off at 58 minutes match) that has stayed under the 'get-rid radar'. But yes you can get pot committed with players (see Moses, Ade, Suarez and other players whom come so close but never seem to seal the deal).

brought in joe hart 5 weeks ago and was told he was far too expensive for a keeper, in 5 weeks hes got me

2, 7, 7, 6, 8

if you go for the top keepers for their nice fixtures it can sometimes be worth the extra 1.5-2m spent overall

Morning folks,

I hope those who were unfortunate enough to have Aguero, Silva, Ba, Bale etc aren't too disheartened. There's nothing like a DGW to cheer you up!

So, ShawX out this week. I'd planned to get either Evans or Skrtel in this week depending on defensive form.

Who is better value in your opinion? I think it's very close but Skrtel is 100% to start when he's fit and the bonus points that come with his goal threat might swing it even further in his favour. The DGW is the icing on the cake! Anyone care to disagree?

So I basically need 2 of these to happen to be bale to get the WC team I have in mind - chances?

a) Pog to rise again BEFORE Rooney rises

b) Another one of the players I currently have, but don't want, to rise 0.1m (looking at Kompany, Raylor, Lescott, Mata, and perhaps Mclean)

c) To be able to get a double price rise from a player I don't have and don't want (looking at A Young, Adam, Gerrard).
