Chelsea tonight booked their passage to the FA Cup Quarter-Finals with a 2-0 win at Birmingham. The victory ensures that they will face Leicester City on March 18. This means that their league fixture for that weekend – the trip to Man City which was scheduled for Monday March 19 is now postponed. Both Chelsea and Man City now have a missing fixture in Gameweek 29.

Having seen the other FA Cup postponements shifted to midweek later in Gameweek 29, we can anticipate that the same fate will befall this match with Wednesday March 21 the likely date.

We will hopefully get confirmation of the rescheduled match very soon. For now, however, the season tickers will be updated to show a blank fixture in Gameweek 29 for both teams.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Probably, yes, he was supposed to last night but didn't, so maybe FISO is wrong about it.

      He probably will though

Since he's yellow flagged I think he needs to get to around 150% on FISO so no.

I am sure he will start next match. I have him and am not transfering him out. The only thing I would do is transfer him to Kompany if you plan to do it for the long term. I would look at their fixtures 29-32 first however.

Must say, for an entire team worth of differentials compared to my Galacticos, we had unnervingly similar scores ... your unholy and misbegotten 4 point home advantage might prove to be crucial.

Sure wish I had two transfers for the week.

            Oh wait, I do 😀

Migs on the bench must have caused some naughty language on your part this week.

Krul did indeed take an earful for not reflecting my faith. Fair to say Mignolet shall be stepping up this week to serve as a reminder to Krul that his position in the team is fragile. I would suggest your faith in his countrymen may be your downfall. Can Raylor really produce against the immortal Vermaelen?

I would wish I had two transfers had I not taken a hit last week in preperation. #tacticalplanningwinstheday

Still about 80% on losing Bale on WC and binging him back for GW31, but Silva could miss GW29, plus Granville mentioned Silva's ankle injury, which I now remember reading about and didn't sound great - he's been managing it for a while and it's not 100%.

If City have a blank fixture in GW29, then it's a no-brainer to sell Silva imo. If not it's tougher, but i'd be worried about the damage Bale could do to Stoke next week.

Great team. If you manage to avoid injuries i reckon that starting 11 is good for most of the season. Only absense is a City defender, i reckon they will be getting grubby 1-0's as they anxiously hang on to win title.

Lack of man c is the only downside , had to lose Kompany to make it work, his price was just too high.
Think my defence is ok though , Enrique and BAE will be good for most weeks with one of the other three depending on their fixtures

Suarez can easily change to Adebyour if needed.

Drenthe is the only one im uncertain about , but him and his manager making all the right noises this week

Shotton's the only oneidont like the look of. And Bogdan, but that's fine if you play Reina every week.

Shotton to Kelly? Fulham have some nice home games, only problem is Kelly is still doubtful with an injury and may not get his place back instantly, but then Shotton isn't nailed on either.

    Vorm Schwarzer
    Skrtel, Simpson, Caulker, Kelly, Taiwo
    Silva, Bale, Dempsey, Valencia, McClean
    RVP, Suarez Ba

Have made two transfers to get Suarez and Skrtel in this week, so anything more is for a hit, but my defence looks shaky this week with

    Schwarzer
    Skrtel, Kelly, Taiwo

As Kelly and Taiwo are doubts. Isn't worth a 4 point hit to do Evans to Taiwo before his rise? Or to ship out Valencia who could drop yet again by the end of the week?

I wish I had the faith Mark has that Chelsea are going to want to play the FA Cup game on the Sunday, followed by an away game to Man City on Wednesday and a weekend game with Spurs close behind.

Personally I think they would have to be bonkers............ Still who knows, maybe they want to risk Champions League qualification for next year when they don't need to. Or are so confident in their new management that they have assumed it's already in the bag.

If they don't beat Napoli then there will be plenty of time to rearrange it as well.

But then you have Kompany, Toure and Aguero in that game - though with your 2 transfers made I'm assuming you've shipped Aguero out, so benching 2 city shouldn't be too much of a problem

It doesn't really matter if its played then or not, other than the worry about a future DGW

Haha, 🙂 Strangely Archie, just for once I wasn't thinking about myself. If I was part of the Chelsea set up I would have to say.......

Are 6 games every three days at this stage of our club and the season a good idea?

Haha, these days I'm thinking about the FF consequences of every move 😛

But you're right, if they can play it later I'd see it as more beneficial to the club, especially giving Di Matteo time to make a little of his own mark tactically.

They will have to play it midweek at some point, but I guess it's in their interests to have as good a go as possible at city, who seem to destroy everyone at home

Two transfers done one or two still to do this week, so no worries even if I'm a couple short. Still leaves me with 13. 12 and two keepers.

Pick two from these bargain price defenders (will be 2nd and 3rd on my bench most weeks)

    A) Caulker
    B) Kelly (fulham)
    C) Shotton
    D) Senderos
    E) Williamson
    F) Santon
    G) McAuley

It will be Kompany/Enrque, Skertel, Evans ........and have Caulker and Kelly at the moment.

Considering Shotton but his next 3 aren't great and with his starting place not certain I will probably stick with the above.

A Newcastle defender - Williamson - is an idea, but they're not looking very solid at e back recently, so I'd stick with what you've got, McAuley won't score every week 😉

get mignolet and swarzer keepers for a start good rotation and much cheaper, get rid of richards for kompany as a safe keeper, get jevans in for shawcross, get senderos out for a newcastle defnder. get rid of silva for nani or young as united fixtures r gr8, and get demosey in for sess, then upfront get rooney in for aguero then ba out for a cheap punt like pog maybe seen how that leaves you hope this helps

He did, and a beauty it was too. Close to the end-line, he nicked it around the defender and scored from a tight angle.

evening gents, being fortunate enough to find myself in the possesssion of two free transfers this week my ambitions seem to of run away with me 😛 waddya reackon?

    aguero ➡ holt
    simpson ➡ skytel or johnson
    and for the hit
    ox ➡ nani or young

i ran the above transfers past a few trusted mates at work this evening, responses varied from hoots of derision 😯 to luke warm and 'think again', 😕

is holt for aguero such a bad move ❓ i figure holt is a fair pick considering how norwich play, his focal point in the team and norwich's next 3 games,
the attractiveness of a double and pools great fixtures to follow dictate a pool player comin in
and the nani/young move adds some attacking verve to my line up with said strong fixtures coming up thought these moves were considered and well thought out......not so sure now 😕

    krull mingolet
    kelly simpson richards santon senderos
    siggy dempsey mcclean ox bale
    aguero rooney persie

Lose Richards over Simpson IMO then you can get better than Holt, maybe a punt on Pog?

I dont think Holt is that bad, although I prefer Graham for the money. Your effectively switching your first sub role from your midfield to your forwards.

I agree with Jkisthe1 Richards:arrow:skrtl instead of Simpson. But my reasoning is so you can do McClean:arrow:Nani as Sunderland are gonna struggle now that their fixtures are stiffening and Catermole and Sess are suspended.

Just did Richards to Enrique. So my team for this GW is now:
    Mignolet
    Bardsley Enrique Evans
    Bale Dempsey McClean Silva
    Ba Aguero RVP
    Subs: Schwarzer, Caulker, Simpson, Valencia

I`ve got 1 free transfer left, and got 1.1 M in the bank.
Is Aguero to Rooney the right thing to do?
Or something else? And when is Valencia back? I am getting tired of waiting on him to get fit again.

I love it! To think I wanted to go to the gym early instead of watch the Arsenal game. AMAZING. I don't know why guys like Rosicky like they blew the match. People had completely written them all off, and they legitimately made AC milan afraid. Did anyone else see the brown stains on their shorts while they were running their 10-0-0 formation in the second half? They were so lucky it didn't go to OT.

    Evening gents.
I've already done Ba to Suarez and Sess to Miyaichi ( 😎 ) ...2 FTs

I have the money to do Aguero to Rooney but held off just in case of midweek injuries.. I'm half tempted to keep Aguero for swa and just get Rooney next GW for wol.

Saving myself a 4 point hit whilst millions around me take 4/8 hits. I dunno know..

    wildcard assistance needed

thus far- mignolet and swarzer rotate well until then end of the season
simpson skrtel jevans and kompany rotate well with each other 2 home 2 away each week, any recommendations for a cheap 5th defender macauley/kelly/shottong/caulker

midfield is my big difficult point- currently have dempsey 8.9 and bale 9.1 ( have made alot of both so reluctant to sell then have to pay loads to get back, maclean similair thing at 4.7 should i keep him
. this would leave me with about 14.7 for my other two mids- pick two from young and siggy, nani and surman or valencia then someone else for up to 7 like pilkington
upfront rvp rooney and suarez can be changed to ade

Keepers and defenders look good. You won't go too far wrong with Kelly (good home fixtures) as your 5th.
Don't be too reluctant to sell Bale, especially if your plan is to do Suarez to Ade in GW31.
      Keep Dempsey until GW33 imo..
