Gameweek 28 is all but upon us. Little over an hour separates us from the Merseyside-packed double Gameweek, and the Matchday Surgery opens it’s doors to aid you through the deadline.

As always, here you’ll find some very handy links for those of you a little pushed for time this morning…

  • The Scout Picks – What we think are 14 of the best fantasy prospects this week.
  • The Team News – Packed all the relevant and up-to-date information along with our predicted line-up for all 20 Premier League teams.
  • Injuries & Bans table – A more detailed view of all players with a question mark over their availability this weekend.
  • Spot the Differential – For those players we feel are big-risk but potentially big-reward this week

On top of that, there’s the Captain’s Poll which can be viewed on the home page, down the central column, to aid your armband decision. We’ve also looked at the men in the middle in our referee-based Men in Black article.

Your Fantasy peers are also here to help, so join them in our Matchday Surgery chatroom, which can be accessed right here.

mc clean certain to start and a decent chance if sunderland do anything he will be involved, everything they do seems to go down the left these days, but i think liverpool could tank them today with no catermole and sess.
as you say you could be stuck with a 1 point cameo from dzeko, tough call but id go with mc clean

    Good morning dear FFSers!

What's the general consensus on Glen Johnson? Is he worth the extra ££? Will he start at all?
Did my free transfers early to get out Sess and Aguero, but still without any DGW-players, and not satisfied at all with my defenders. Thinking of getting in 1 or 2 Liverpool defenders for Huth/Kompany/Taiwo for either a -4 or -8 point hit.

I think his comments backing Suarez this week means he will start as Kenny is a stubborn Scotttish man and even of maybe he wasn't going to risk him, I reckon he now would just to spite the media and prove there is no problem.

I have brought him in for Taiwo for a hit.

Considering Dempsey to Nani for a hit.

    Team for week is

    Krul
    G Johnson, J Evans, Richards
    Silva, Bale, Mata (C), Miyachi
    RVP, Ba, Pog

    Dempsey, Kelly, Santon

I would probably drop Pog or Bale for Nani to come in team. Also Dempsey is on a rise today, which gives me extra 0.1.

Last week I decided at last minute to delay a free transfer until this GW and it was Dzeko to Pog. :(.

    FYI...

If the season had started after the New Year, Kenny Dalglish's head would be well and truly on the chopping block. One win in seven (against the abysmal Wolverhampton) has been heavily masked by their stuttering Carling Cup win against Championship opposition. Their current form is truly woeful.

If you're one of the quarter million who have so far invested in the likes of Enrique, Skrtel, Adam or Suarez then I'm sorry, you've done your money; Sunderland will beat them today (15/8, draw no bet with PP) and Everton - as is their wont - will grind out yet another 1-1 away draw on Tuesday.

    Good day.

they beat City in the Kinder Cup, but otherwise I agree. LFC. L is for lacklustre.

The people who have brought in Liverpool players ONLY for the DGW hasn't grasped the finer points of FPL, however LFC will surely keep several more clean sheets until the end of the season. Say 4 or 5.

          -Skrtels bigger goal threat
          -Skrtels 2 extra games

I have Bale and Dempsey and don't expect much this weekend from either (trying to decide who to bench).

Given Valencia is nearly back, it's only really Kelly/Kompany I would look at changing, but probably not worth it.

I would stick and not panic if it's a bad game week, as there is potential but then RVP, Roomey, Miyachi/Skertel could drag you into decent scores quite easily.

Tough one - on past stats Dempsey but I'd probs bench McClean.

Kompany to Evans for a 4 point hit??

Not bothered about having to pay more to get him back and would otherwise have to play Caulker. Would also help to fund Taarabt to Valencia next week.

    What do you think??

I'd honestly just play Caulker and hope for a resolute performance and maybe an assist or even a goal - you aren't going to make those 4 points back from Evans.

Maybe just can't see City not scoring a couple. If Man U get a CS then it could be 6 v 0/1 and would work. Would set me up well for next few weeks as well as I'd probs end up doing a hit next week instead of this one.

I am thinking of doing Kelly>Evans for a 4 point hit.

no as the most evans will get is 6 points. so you will profit 2 points at best if you have no other decent defenders on bench??

Caulker and Simpson could both get 0/1 or even minus
