The penultimate fixture in Gameweek 28 brought us yet another dramatic finale involving Arsenal as Arsene Wenger’s side bundled a winning goal at the death to deny a battling Newcastle.

Statistically, there were some outstanding performances on show which we will break down in a moment, along with our prediction for the Fantasy Premier League bonus points.

Firstly, there was also a dispute involving the assist for the winning goal. The assist for the touch on Theo Walcott’s cross was first awarded to Robin Van Persie and then removed and handed to Aaron Ramsey. It’s unclear whether Ramsey did indeed get a clear touch on the cross before it was blocked by the defender in the box but, interestingly, Opta have also confirmed a Ramsey touch on Walcott’s cross. While this goal and the award of the assist could yet be reviewed by the Press Association, right now it sits with Ramsey – denying Walcott his second assist on a night where he sparkled on the right flank.

Alan Pardew really is unbelievable. Beginning of the season he's justifying Joey Barton fighting people at Arsenal, and now he's complaining about how extra time works. "Adding time for this and that". Really? How dumb is it to fixate on that? If he should complain about anything its that Simpson got injured after the three subs were used, thats unlucky and I wouldn't blame him at all for complaining about that. He really is a clown, and it doesn't help he has this really snobby way of saying it.

This place really is bat shit crazy during matches. It's nice to log on when everything is calm.

I fear that Santon's place in the Newcastle defence is very wobbly. Would be so annoying to waste a transfer on a chaep defender so close to the end..

  He certainly did look streched on the right hand side with both Sagna and Walcott attacking at him. Also Pardew will want to keep HBA in the side, so either Dave misses out or HBA goes on the wing, leaving Raylor possibly going in at LB at the expense of Santon.

      Personally santon is the only player I'd want out there but obv kilgallon or whoever is utter shyte. Personally I'd take siggy out as the rest of midfield you will start every week anyway... And assuming you play all 3 strikers, siggy is a bit of an expensive bench player when you could have Rooney. Just my opinion, he also has tricky fixtures coming up where I would have him on the bench anyway.
      
      Dempsey has utd away next week though, but if you get McLean he has qpr at home and could start that week.

I'm wondering if a goal fest tomorrow will benefit me more than a 0-0...

Hmm lets see... (Points in order are Enrique, Baines, Drenthe & Suarez)

Providing everyone plays 90mins, a 0-0 would get me 6, 6, 3, and 2 + increased likelihood of defensive bonus...

2-2 doesn't guarantee my players scoring but I would likely register some form of attacking points from 4 goals... maybe then I would get 1, 4, 2, 6...

It then becomes apparent that although I want Suarez and Drenthe to score/assist... I will be much better off with a 0-0...

Anyone else draw the same conclusions?

  I'm not so comfortable with all your eggs in one Craven Cottage basket though... but they do have 5 very favourable home games left this season (Yes, Chelsea is still favourable IMO)

  I have Schwarzer and Dempsey so i'm avoiding Pog. 3 is too many especially for a team that aren't great away from home.

  I'd do A because kolorov is too much of a rotation risk. I would pick Turner of Sunderland at 4.2.
  
  McLean replacing sess is a good option too though (would still keep Sunderland attacking cover at a low cost)

  I've got Rooney and Nani so Evans is all I have. I think for a team so good going forward 2 in defence is a bit much. Evra rarely gets any assists or bps so I would avoid at that price just for a CS.

    Go for Siggy. I'm playing Schwarzer and Siggy. Fulham have quite a few times conceded late on and the Villa game shows how easily a CS can disappear. Swansea will give them a game and Siggy is at the heart of what they do so you gotta play him.
