Liverpool XI: Reina, Kelly, Skrtel, Carragher, Jose Enrique, Henderson, Gerrard, Spearing, Downing, Carroll, Suarez.

Everton XI: Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Coleman, Rodwell, Fellaini, Pienaar, Stracqualursi, Anichebe.

Kenny Dalglish names an attacking line-up, desperate to put an end to his prolonged set of horrendous results. Andy Carroll partners Luis Suarez, and Steven Gerrard returns to the starting eleven.

Celebrating 10 years of continuous employment this week, David Moyes could see his side leap-frog their city rivals with a win. It’s surprising then that, despite his winner against Spurs, Nikica Jelavic is dropped to the bench along with John Heitinga. In their place, Denis Stracqualursi and Phil Jagielka come in.

      While i agree, everytime i see him play he 'should' get something and with good fixtures now to follow it may just give him that extra yard of thinking time to actually produce. Im sticking for the next couple for better or worse...

        well defenders who contribute with anything offensively usually get paid off nicely when it comes to bps

    Mixed feelings:

    Suarez pays off all my hits with a double assist, and deservedly so.
    Suarez fails to score again, and deservedly so.

    Have to rid one of Suarez and Ba for Roon, and only the most fervent Newcastle fan would say Ba is in great form. If he's not getting a goal at Norwich (guaranteed? hardly) he's got to go. It also seems absurd to rid Suarez after a 10+ pointer and with brilliant fixtures.

      Yes, but if Stevie G doesn't play at the weekend - which is possible considering we weren't sure he was going to even be back after half time - then Suarez's output drops significantly. Whereas Ba is playing Norwich, who concede for fun. I can see good arguments for dropping either for Rooney to be honest.

      same, i feel lucky that suarez/skrtl/enrique paid off and along with rvp saved what could have been a very bad gw (rvp was defo the safer captain bet, given the form of liv and suarez)

      im still sticking with the plan of holding suarez for the next 2 and see what happens, qpr, WIG should be decent chances for points, but then this is suarez 😉
