A Gameweek which sees FA Cup and Premier League matches collide leaves Fantasy Managers faced with difficult decisions as the deadline draws nearer.

Emmanuel Adebayor is amongst the notable injury doubts, with Aaron Lennon also ruled out for Spurs. Harry Redknapp’s side travel to Bolton in the Cup before hosting Stoke at the Lane in midweek. The Potters first face Liverpool at Anfield, with Kenny Dalglish checking on the health of both Craig Bellamy and Glen Johnson.

Elsewhere, Nicklas Bendtner looks to be fit for Sunderland as they go from their weekend tie at Everton, to travel to Ewood in the league. Roberto Di Matteo has the luxury of a fully fit squad as Chelsea prepare for their Stamford Bridge clash with Championship side Leicester – we can expect some rotation in that one, with a testing trip to the Etihad beckoning on Wednesday.

  Can we call a halt to this Rooney might be rested business until we get some firm proof? It's making me unnecessarily nervous.
  
  And, no, he has no more fixtures except the Prem League. If he was rested I'm not sure what it would be for....keep him nice and fresh for next week's Prem League fixture....seems unlikely.

    Unless he his injured, of which we have no proof other than some half-baked theories on here, there is no point in resting him, United do not play for 8 days after Wolves, surely that is a decent rest.
    
    I will both play him and captain him.

    Would you rather
    
    a) You do the same then he doesn't play and you get a decent vc and sub (as happened to many of us with Aguero and Dempsey a couple of weeks back) or
    
    b) You chose believe a load of unconfirmed thoughts or rumours and take the captaincy of him (or drop him entirely) and the he goes crazy ala RvP v Blackburn? at which point no doubt you will all be on here moaning "I shouldn't have listened and should have captained Rooney"
