Following the sudden collapse of Fabrice Muamba in today’s FA Cup tie with Spurs, Bolton have tonight issued an official statement which indicates that Muamba remains “in a critically ill condition in intensive care.”

Our thoughts and prayers remain with Muamba’s family and friends during this time.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Just been reading all the kind comments many of you have made regarding Muamba and that makes me glad to be part of this club. My thoughts are with his family at this time.

Watched Fulham v Swansea highlights on MOTD and Fulham were awful. No width and micky mouse defending paticularly from Senderous and Kelly

Swansea were also excellent at keeping and moving the ball.

I'll let them off. With a very old Diarra as the only DM they were always going to get overrun. Jol made a huge mistake dropping Murphy ( Klaxon)

It's not just that. Playing AJ upfront and Dempsey wide or deep is never good for Fulham. Dempsey must play support striker for Pog, that's it. And what's the point of playing Ruiz on right wing when Kelly has an average position like winger as well (according to gamecast), leaving Senderos shockingly exposed to errors on CD-R.

So yeah, Jol got it all wrong tonight, but he doesn't seem to be learning from his own mistakes.

Nope, they played very different against Stoke, their defence was packed, Duff was playing RM, Pog and Ruiz were upfront and Dempsey supporting them.

Its all well and good playing an attacking team, but if you cant control posession you cant score any goals. Swansea are the perfect team to reveal these flaws.

    evening lads, crazy happenings today!

question re: fantasy footy. have 2 ft's for the coming week: what i'm looking at doing is 4 transfers over 2weeks. it will be skrtel, dempsey, silva & ba out for bae, walcott, 5.6mid & rvp in. i have sinclair & i'm thinking of getting siggy in as the 5.6(or less) midfielder. any thoughts or better options?

I suppose it's not ideal to have both, but you could play Siggy pretty much every game and play SInclair as well when it's a good fixture? Swansea have some nice looking fixtures after Spurs away in GW31

I've got Siggy and Miyaichi as my cheap mids.

If Beausajour played for any other team in the league he would have had 3 or 4 assists today. He created so many chances. His delivery was fantastic. But he plays for Wigan, so its a good old 2 pointer.

I am still haunted by the images of the Bolton physio trying to turn Fabrice onto his side. Seeing that you could tell it was very serious and it quickly became distressing. We never want to see those kind of images but I'm just glad the reaction was so swift and gives him a fighting chance.

Fight on Fabrice. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

True. Makes a mockery of the 'magic sponge' insults we here so often. It's a fact of life now that in our game we can see players breaking their legs, knocked unconcious or even worse on the rare occasion we see something like today's events. The medics are important and the players are putting their bodies on the line for our entertainment. I am thankful for all of it.

On the Wigan V West Brom highlights, I have to say that watching them this week and last week at Carrow Road they have been more than just a little unlucky. They have played some good football but just haven't had the luck, guile and finishing of a Zaki, Rodallega, N'Zogbia etc which we have seen in past seasons. P.S. I know Rod is still there but hasn't been quite as good as when he first emerged.

I was just typing this as Hansen & Co started talking about him but Diame's miss today and the one that Maloney cut back for him last week were real gilt edged chances. If they go down they will be replayed over and over by Diame and Wigan fans.

Yeah, too many times they manage a draw or even a loss when they should be putting away their chances and winning. They have walked a fine line for a few seasons now and I think it's more than past their time to drop down to the Championship.

When you're down the bottom it really doesn't go for you at all.

Similar with QPR. Created more chances than opponents in recent games and no luck whatsoever. I think after Liverpool we've hit the woodwork more times than nearly any other team or so.

Bad things tend to happen to you when you're down the bottom end of the table and sometimes it seems like external forces are conspiring to stop you winning games.

Of course, that's not the case in reality, but it can feel like that sometimes as a fan.

Daft comment, he loves Liverpool like no other. If they put even a half decent run together he'll be tipping them for the title again.

I find some of comments complete nonsense. In reference to Balotelli he had this golden nuggest of wisdom:
"You don't need a character when you're trying to win titles. You need a character if you're a mid table team".

You were right until your last sentence though.

You can't be petty in his position. He's watching United win numerous titles and always coming back every season, even when they are having those years when they're in transition they are still challenging at the top and consitently recycling the squad.

United have done well to be top at this stage and not really been above 3rd gear. Hansen has to give them credit, as do most other football fans, otherwise he'll just have another "you'll never win anything with kids" moment.

Justified is adapted from a Elmore Leonard short story and is about a US Marshall going home to down in the south.

Stars Timothy Olyphant (Deadwood, Die Hard 4, Go)

First season is average, very episode of the week, but gets better towards episode 6/7.

Season 2 and Season 3 (coming towards the end) are very good though.

It''s very different because it deals with down in the sticks etc, which is area you just don't really get covered in different shows.

One of the best shows still running.

I sincerely wish Muamba all the best, but agree that doesn't mean that should be the only topic allowed.

Not in this case, as many here almost part of the scene having witnessed pictures, but tragedies also draw an element of somewhat phony communal grieving, as that is seen as the thing to do.

If a teenager is gunned down tonight is that any less tragic? But would your life stop because of it?

I have been thinking for the past hour or so now,

Does the will to live play any part in an incident such as today? I see people say 'hang in there, Fabrice' , 'Keep fighting Fabrice' etc etc. but
Scientifically, it is all involuntary functions we are dealing with here so there really isnt anything under Muambas control (or is there?),
but im pretty sure so most would disagree. and they would all commemorate his willpower and desire to live when (if) he survives this tragedy.

Not looking for any arguments over this, it was just a deep thought and i didnt want it to go to waste in the depths of my cranial fluid.
Also, re-reading the post, it seems very pointless but I'm still going to post it nonetheless.

Gdnite all, gotta wake up for the F1.
    pray for Fabrice.

He nearly made a hash of that goal but you're right, he could be Holt or Grahamesque. 6m would be diabolical, he'll come in at 5 or 5.5m.

I would be looking at Morgan Schneiderlin personally. Like him as a player.

He was terrible all game, as were Fulham in general. Hangeland, Schwarzer and Kelly all also made similar random mistakes.

I think Stephen Kelly is the one most likely to be dropped. He was terrible and actually even booed by the home crowd for being so negative on his flank and misplacing his crosses when going forward. Also showed up by Sinclair at least once every 15 minutes.

Giving the ball away and then falling over, classic Senderos. At times he looks absolute class and then other times, he makes some random mistakes.

Have you already transferred Sigurdsson in aswell? I am still mad at myself for backing out at the last minute this morning.

Yeah I pulled the trigger on Moses->Siggy. Didn't want to lose the 0.3 as I have some potentially expensive players I want in. The decisive factor for me was that we won't know much more anyway before he's up 0.3 as it will be quick and since I had it all planned anyway I just did it.

I was there today at Craven Cottage and I concur, Steven Kelly was dreadful. Gylfi was good and will get the headlines, but MOM for me was Joe Allen. His awareness of space, technique and passing was exceptional. Him and Britton took hold of that midfield half way through the 1st half and never let go.

half way through slipping/falling over you saw him contemplate trying to tackle allen with his head, HIS HEAD. the sheer vulnerability of the man was actually sad to see, it's like opening the cubicle door of someone taking a poo, you're never more vulnerable than when having a poo, and senderos was mid-poo when allen opened the door.

I still think Moses is in fact the worst FFS bandwagon ever, because so many kept him for so long and it took him even longer to produce. Most people had bought him, sold him and bought him again before he had his first score better than 3. He's been decent lately to make up for some of it at least

Boselli was much worse. At least no-one ever captained Moses! Your 5th mid flopping is a lot better than your 3rd striker flopping, those striker slots are more valuable.

They price people on what they'll score in FPL, not how they play.
Sinclair has scored more than Mata and VDV, the same as Lampard, and only a handful less than Walcott and Nani.

Hey talkin' Sains earlier, now your talkin'

I have 2 tips Fox and Richardson, or whoever we have at full-back next reason. Not because they are exceptional players, but because Adkins formation is crazy. Most assists in Championship? Richardson, Fox has nearly as many. We don't really have wingers, Lallana and whoever's on the other wing drift in and are full-backs are our wingers.

Defensively won't be the best, but we'll score goals and they will provide the assists.

I think you may struggle a bit with the speed of the Prem, with you not having pacey wingers(except De Ridder) but Lambert is pretty deadly from set-peices and i'm sure Kelvin Davis can pull off one of his crazy games(Like vs Leeds.)

Pacey wingers? Like I said we don't have any wingers. Adkins takes the concept of 'wing-back' to a whole new level. When it goes wrong we look very narrow and everyone goes huh?? But can't really argue with the job he's doing.

Saint's regular full-backs will be up there as Saints players with the most assists, trust me.
