Everton is on-form and Jelavic seems to be nailed on. Everton are also always very strong in the run-in. 🙂

      I suppose it depends how you see it. You've got 5 defender spots, so in theory you should have plenty of options within your own team to cover one dodgy player. Forward spots are at a premium and they also have the most likelihood of producing massive points hauls.

        Well even on this page their is loads, Cisse, Adebayor, Odemwingie etc. I wouldn't want to attempt to guess when Holt will or won't play, I'd rather have some certainty in a striker. I like the idea of putting more money in defence but not necessarily in midfield, the best options are quite reasonably priced already.

        Yeah it was unexpected but Baines has the potential for assits/goals & more importantly pens in every match which is the reason he is unbenchable for me.
        
        Like I say though, if I had benched him it would have been my own wrong doing anyway, im not one to blame others advise for my mistakes, but luckily im quids in.

    Flawed stat IMO......His points per min is far less than others out there plus they're cheaper.

        Don't worry bro tis but an opinion that is clearly not shared by all. He's not been anywhere near my team I have put that extra cash to good use. I think that having someone cheaper around the 5 mill mark and rotate with another cheap option would be better....then the value saved could be ploughed into a decent midfeild and strike force that are more likely to accrue goals/assists and ultimately bp's!

        I know you're talking about the season, I was talking about Form - which is clearly a better indication..otherwise we would all have Aguero, Silva, and Ba.
        What I'm saying is, with most peoples team value so high, and the lack of expensive options going well mixed with cheaper options on fire, Baines comes into the equation
        A front 8 of;
        Sessegnon Valencia Sigurdsson Walcott Bale
        Rooney Cisse RVP
        Is affordable with the likes of Baines at the back.

        Yep....can see your argument homes, just don't think from where I am right now I want to shift my team around to accommodate a defender that is nearly 8million! I still think I can improve on that front 8 and get better results without Baines. That's the theory anyway lol.
