Premier League champions Manchester United close out Gameweek 30 at home to Fulham. With a seemingly routine opportunity to open a three-point gap over city rivals, the Dugout Discussion opens to witness the potential fantasy points feast.

The team news for the clash at Old Trafford is in. Here is how the two sides line-up…

Man Utd XI: De Gea, Evra, Ferdinand, Evans, Rafael, Carrick, Giggs, Valencia, Rooney, Young, Welbeck.

Fulham XI: Schwarzer, Kelly, JA Riise, Hangeland, Hughes, Diarra, Dempsey, Pogrebnyak, Duff, Frei, Dembele.

Sir Alex makes two changes from the eleven that battered Wolves last week, with Ryan Giggs and Ashley Young replacing Paul Scholes and Javier Hernandez respectively.

Three changes for the visitors with Aaron Hughes, Kerim Frei and Damian Duff coming in for Philippe Senderos, Andrew Johnson and Bryan Ruiz.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom is open and can be accessed right here.

I reckon so. Got the same score (46pts )but without the hit in roughly the same area (21k), and have a green arrow so far. 5th consecutive mind you, but this is my worst gameweek score since my last red arrow, so if the ownership of those baps are high, it might not help. Sounds sound?

Well, considering it looks like only 69 or so points separate #50 from #1216, I'd say you have a decent shot.

Thought the impression was that FISO not as good for price rises as Total FPL. Is that correct? Do you think Gary Cahill goes up tonight? Or do I have another day to mull over who my replacement defender should be?

Looks like 0500, by the clock on FISO, which was last update 0300, (?about a half hour ago?), so I guess that means in another hour and a half, ? Guessing, totally, but that's what time the last set of changes posted on that website. Think they update that site pretty quickly.... Sometime between 0430 and 0500 there?

Quick decision needed before the price rises:

    a) Skrtel & Surman -> Baines & Barfa, or

    b) Surman & Suarez -> Bale & Pog

    Migs, Bogdan
    Skrtel, Enrique, JEvans, Caulker, Shotton
    Dempsey, Walcott, Valencia, Siggy, Surman
    RVP, Rooney, Suarez

3.7m, so it either means taking a hit and doing something like

            Skrtel, Enrique & Surman -> Bale, Cahill & a 4.2m defender,

or it means losing Suarez for a 6.7m or lower striker (as I don't want to ditch Dempsey, Walcott, Valencia, Rooney or RVP)

Last 2 GW have been strange and a little unlucky for me (or was it poor judgement?)

    Last week

5 united goals and only 1 assist for (c) rooney.
28 points rotting on my bench

    This week

3 Arsenal Goals nothing for (c) RVP (4 pts) If you had told me before hand that Arsenal would score 3 goals to United's 1 I would have still given the (c) to RVP.

1 United goal and rooney gets it (18pts if maximum baps)

It proves that in order to break deep inside the top 10K, Gettng the right players on your squad is only half the battle. The other half depends on making the right decisions on who to play each week and and who to give that all important armband to.

Of course a little luck will go along way.

Sorry for the rant.....needed to get it off my chest.

I must say i've never seen a week like this when none of the "popular" choices appeal to me.

Baines - Overpriced, Cahill isn't doing the business. Shares FKs with Jelavic. Everton not scoring enough.
Gibbs - The glassman. Nuff' said
Crouch - I can understand the interest but personally not interested.
Cisse - Just don't rate the guy. At all. I think his stats flatter to deceive and he never plays beyond 70 minutes.
Jelavic - Also doesn't see enough pitch time and again, Everton don't score enough.
Cahill - I don't think he'll play more than 5 PL matches from here on in.
Walcott - He has form but basically I don't rate him and he'll never be going anywhere near my team. I think he's a headless chicken with no footballing brain.
Ben Arfa - Would be great if he was nailed on, but the fact is he isn't. Lots of teams have been burned by him already this season and Tiote & Raylor are expected back next weekend.
Adebayor - His team are a shadow of their former self, until they get their confidence back i'm staying clear.

Vermaelen or Sagna are the only players i'm properly considering, not sure if they're bandwagons yet.

i personally don't understand sagna. splash the little extra for verm or go dirt cheap with gibbs. sagna has never been prolific with assists and especially not goals. vermaelen has been and most importantly with goals (worth 2 assists and much more bp friendly)

yep, and the skill is to realise when runs are normal or not. sagna has always been a guy who'll pick up the odd assist, if you're after more goals from him odds are you'll need to buy him next season

Cisse would have played 90 if he had not gone down with cramp, I'd have him +3M over Suarez any day.
Also, harsh on Walcott, look at his points this year as well as his points with limited minutes last year...

That Cisse lad hasn't even made it to 80 minutes yet, there's a reason why Pardew keeps subbing him.

Must say i'd much prefer Suarez to any 'Castle forward this weekend. It's a big game for Pool, they're going to have a reaction and they're going to be up against Williamson and Perch.

Its quite common that players new to the Premiership use quite some time before they have reached a fitness level appropriate to play 90 minutes in such intensity.

As I said, he'd have playing 90 at the weekend if he didn't get injured.
And I don't see it being a good thing for your argument that you keep banging on about lack of minutes, you might wanna take a look at actual goals scored..
          Cisse - 5 goals in 425 minutes.
          Suarez - 7 goals in 2010 minutes.
It's a big game for Newcastle too, and Cisse/Ba will be up against Carragher..
and quite frankly, Newcastle are a better team.

He didn't get injured, he got cramp. Meaning his body wasn't up to 90 minutes, as has been the case since he joined Newcastle.
I'm perfectly aware of the goals tally but as I said before, I think Cisse's been lucky so far and from what i've seen of him in 4 full matches and highlights of the others I don't rate him.
Skrtel / Carragher compared to Perch / Williamson.. well there is no comparison. Three awful defenders.

And Vermaelen over Sagna any day. The difference is like that between Samba and (insert blackburn defender) and Hangeland and Hughes of last year. I.e. Vermaelen is the defender with EPL's biggest goal threat imo.

TM, in my first round tie with Fuzzy, it has come to my attention that, dependent on the bonus point allocation, it may be a draw...

If Young gets 1, and Rooney only gets 2... then we will be both be on 50...

I am hoping that superior rank supersedes a lower rank to progress?

If that is the case then I feel for Fuzzy...

I'm thinking now is the time to get Bale back in - he's been playing well despite Spurs' slump and could have scored much higher the last few weeks with a bit of luck. How would you fit him in to this squad?

Best I can come up with is:

Surman & Suarez -> Bale & Pog (looking to do Pog -> Cisse in GW33). This would probably mean benching Siggy this week though....

    Migs, Bogdan
    Skrtel, Enrique, JEvans, Caulker, Shotton
    Dempsey, Walcott, Valencia, Siggy, Surman
    RVP, Rooney, Suarez

CANADIAN FOOTBALL, just wondering what transfers you're thinking of this week?

My original gut was saying Ba > Pog purely based on fixtures.

Now im thinking Kompany > Verm or Baines for the rest of the season is a much more viable transfer for the long run.

Planning on Getting in Walcott for Demps GW33 as well

I already did Dempsey>Walcott last week. My plan is to do Ba>Pog this week.

I would not rush to do the Komp>Verm....maybe wait until Friday if you really wanted to dump Komp. City seem to be a different team when he is healthy.

I would do Enrique>Verm instead. Or Enrique > Kaboul.

Players that frustrate us because they are too risky to bring into our team yet rake in the points. Is it time to take a few risks and reap the rewards?

    G Cahill
    B Arfa
    Gibbs
    Belotelli

Feel free to add others and any thoughts about the idea. I think the time is nigh for those chasing to take a few educated risks. Players that are perceived to be at least 75% nailed on should be an option.

I guess some of those are less than 75% nailed on. Its the ones that are likely to play that are the most interesting. Young and Nasri could fit into that catagory. Although both are expensive and I'm not sure people will be willing to spend 10m on one perceived to be 75% nailed on
