The Dugout Discussion opens today for two Premier League games involving some of it’s most enjoyable teams to watch. Third-place chasing Spurs take on the exciting Swansea City after Newcastle host Liverpool, with the former fighting for European football.

The team news from the game at The Sports Direct Arena is in, and the sides line-up as follows…

Newcastle XI: Krul, Simpson, Williamson, Perch, Gutierrez, Guthrie, Tiote, Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Cisse, Ba.

Liverpool XI: Reina, Flanagan, Carragher, Skrtel, Jose Enrique, Shelvey, Spearing, Gerrard, Suarez, Carroll, Bellamy.

Alan Pardew is without the injured Fabricio Coloccini, which partners James Perch with Mike Williamson in central defence and puts Jonas Gutierrez in the left-back berth. It’s the same attacking mentality that served them so well at West Brom.

Liverpool also name an attacking side, knowing that a win here is essential if they want to overhaul the Magpies. Andy Carroll returns to his former stomping ground and starts alongside Luis Suarez.

Our Dugout Discussion chatroom will remain open all day, and can be accessed right here.

Incredibly so. It's driving me insane!

I did an essay as to why I should keep then a confusing post regarding the Man Utd midfield...

...I just don't know any more.

It's tough stuff, this DGW malarky!

My current plans involve holding onto David Silva until GW 36 - truly shocking stuff. One of the main reasons being that he has a fixture in GW 34, and I don't wanna bring in a VDV/Mata only for them to warm my bench in a key GW.

I know, pal. I was in a similar situation with Ba as you have with Silva.

well, he does have wigan at home and though it's rubbish, its still a double. give him 180 mins and he can produce a goal from nowhere

true, the irony is that I would bench him for the blank due to his home games rather than the immediate double!

    Lost post.

    Vorm | Mignolet
    Komp | Evans | Enrique | Verm | Caulker
    Bale | Sess | Sigg | Dempsey | Valencia
    Rooney | RVP | Cisse

Probabbly save transfer and keep this team until GW33 and then on GW33 do
    Dempsey (CHE;blank)>Walcott(wol;WIG)

That will allow me to play GW34 the following team:

    Vorm (Mig)
Komp | Evans | Verm | Caulker (Enrique)
Sess | Wacott | Sigg | Valencia (Bale
    RVP | Roo (Cisse)

    looks good no?

I've been checking back through the post in the last hour or so, and to add my two penneth into the ba or barfa assist for the second goal, while watching the goal, and seeing numerous replays, I never thought for a second that it was anywhere near a barfa assist. I would like to see it again now though. As a barfa owner, i would happily take it!
